Amazing Aussie Tavern with great, grassy van sites and nice, cool pool. While there, visit The Shed - something to see in every corner - you will not be disappointed with the huge collections of cars, motorbikes and so much more! Highly recommend.

We had wanted to fi.nd a site at the park but were not able to so we found a spot up the road. We visited the Lazy Lizard Tavern for a drink in the afternoon. It was a hot day but it was very pleasant sitting here, this is a quirky hotel and there is an old car show out the back that is well worth a visit. The price of the drinks today was very good and the service very friendly.

Twice I have been there this year. The first time I couldn’t make the stupid app work for the car display. I was abused by office staff when I rang to say sumthin. The second time they abused me when I was worried my car would have to stay outside. Very rude and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Thanks

TripAdvisor is badly letting you down by not highlighting this absolute nugget of a place. If your in Pine Creek and need a break, you need to stop here. The pub is welcoming, has tonnes of character and serves up very large servings of food. There is also a warehouse the size of an aircraft hanger, full of the owners personal collection of vintage cars. Monaro's, Torana's, you name it, it seems to be restored and parked up out the back. We also had a good chat with one of the locals, who was feeding one of the pet lizards whilst having a beer and a chat. Highly recommended. Hopefully at some point TripAdvisor will sort out this ranking issue coz it needs to be up there.

Lazy Lizard is as good as the best parks l have stayed in. Showers and toilets are the best ,in the top two l have stayed in 5 yrs.(travel full time). Recommend everyone should experience this establishment. Also try the Bark Hut. Both owned by the same owner.

What a welcoming "outback experience". Such an unexpected delight. We stayed an extra night knowing it was such a great place. Food, jukebox and pool tables made a night of it. The team here were lovely. Although it was hot as hell the beer was cold, as was the pool, thankfully.

Cold beer and an awesome collection of cars, bikes and moto memorabilia in The Shed. Friendly staff. Clean amenities. Great selection of groceries, reasonably fresh vegies, and the most amazing homemade ice cream! Fuel is reasonably priced.

Love this place! Tavern food was great and would have given 5 stars but.... the cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing. Accommodation is not cheap, and no discounts offered....ever, so would expect the rooms to be a lot cleaner. The pool wasn't overly clean, and a lot of fans were not working... some things seem to need a little TLC.

Roomy caravan sites, clean amenities and they are quite quirky , tavern is really good, we stopped for 3 nights and ate dinner at the tavern each night it was that good. Recommend as a stop over. Found the staff friendly, plus a well stocked on site convenience store.
