Already second time in 2 years! Best place to stay in Pila for ski and for kids. You reach the slopes directly from the back door of the hotel. Good food and the baby club makes your holiday perfect!

The main attraction is the location, right on the slopes. There’s ski hire and lockers at the hotel and you can ski from and too the hotel. It’s a very busy hotel, very popular with families because of its well priced ski package for children. Meal times May seem chaotic till you get used to it but there’s a very good selection of food.

Sobald man sich eingelebt und orientiert hat, kann man sich zurücklehnen und die Ferien richtig genießen. Der direkte Zugang zu den Skipisten ist ein großes Plus. Unsere Kinder wurden hervorragend betreut und haben sich bestens unterhalten und auch die Erwachsenen kamen nicht zu kurz. Die Qualität des Essens war herausragend, trotz des (zu erwartenden) Lärmpegels im Restaurant. Auch die abendliche musikalische Unterhaltung durch den talentierten Daniel hatte ein sehr hohes Niveau. Wir kehrten mit wunderschönen Erinnerungen nach Hause zurück.

This was our third stay at TH Pila. The hotel is the perfect place from which to enjoy the slopes. Excellent ski in and out position and facilities. The food is great. Everyday such good quality food and an extraordinary choice and wine on tap. Friendly helpful staff.

Once you work out the parking situation and navigate check-in, this becomes an amazing location for a family ski trip. Right on the slopes, it truly is ski in/ski out. The rooms had all we needed including incredible views of Mont Blanc. The restaurant does take some getting used to but eventually becomes great fun - you simply have to get up and choose your dish from an amazing array of choices. One rule, keep moving forward, if you try to be polite and stand back to let others through, you'll never get anywhere. With hungry teenagers in tow, the fact that they could keep getting up for more was brilliant. The red wine on tap was welcome too. Yes, it's a bit hectic, but this is an Italian family hotel. I thoroughly recommend the hotel for families and groups who are looking to ski the hidden gem of a resort that is Pila.

Best family ski holiday. Delicious food, friendly staff, ski in, ski out. It was such a treat to not have to cook or clean for a week. Ski hire was in the hotel & the resort is really family friendly. Lessons with Scuola di Ski Pila fun. If you’re looking for a quiet holiday then this won’t be for you but for a family it is perfect. One of our party was Gluten Free and they were unbelievably accommodating with special snacks & gf menu at meals. Top tip: Request a room away from the Theatre as it is noisy until 10:30pm. We were put in a noisy room to star with but they moved us as soon we asked. The swimming pool is a bit of a disappointment as it is 3m deep with no shallow areas & you need a swim hat, your own towel (not up the hotel one) and flip flops to use it. The snow was so good we didn’t mind! Best hot chocolate in the bar too. We’ll be back. We booked through Heidi and they were faultless too! Thanks TH Pila for looking after us.

The hotel continues to get away with the problems it’s experienced for many years with the hotel “taking their time” to provide the same stock response without addressing it. Like most of Pila, this hotel is a depressing and oppressive concrete box which is allegedly “good for families”. Our room was blasted until after midnight by club music every night and any call to reception was answered by someone who doesn’t speak English. I understand that’s my problem but you don’t need to be bi-lingual to realise there’s a problem and never before has a receptionist hung up the phone when asked when the music will stop! If your thing is dancing bears and a bad night sleep then look no further.

We found a great staff covering all our needs always flexible, helpful and smiling. We had 2 people on gluten free diet and received personalized service. Great food, sky services (equipment rental, lockroom and school) in the hotel and directly on the slopes. Great skying vacation.
