"Grand Hotel, Piešťany. Ab November 3–6, 2025. Zwei Personen. Eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung bei einer Eigenschaft, die als 4 Sterne bewertet wird, aber nicht den Standard überhaupt widerspiegelt. • Zimmer nie während drei Tagen gereinigt, Kühlschrank ausgeschaltet und voll von Moll. • Bad in schrecklicher Zustand: Wäscheschalen im WC, Schlauch im Dusche, kleine und unpraktisches Tauchen, unhygienische Ausstattung. • Frühstück schlecht und von geringer Qualität; schockierend, Kaffee wurde als zusätzliche geladen, obwohl er eingeschlossen wurde. • Entspannungsbereich mit schmutzigen und vernachlässigten Jacuzzi. • Sicher unstable und unsicher, leicht zu entfernen. Zusammenfassend: vernachlässigte Eigenschaften, unzureichende Dienstleistungen und Qualität weit unter den Erwartungen. Die vier-Sterne-Bewertung ist völlig ungerechtfertigt."

"The hotel is a throwback to the 1950s, and it still has that communist block vintage vibe. It’s spotlessly clean and well-cared-for, even if areas show their age a little. If you love the color red, you’ll feel right at home with the very red rum decor! However, the atmosphere is peaceful and serene, which makes it a perfect retreat. Spa Island is absolutely beautiful, with multiple walking and biking trails that lead into the cute little town of Piešťany. You will find multiple dining options and unique boutiques there — it really makes the trip feel special! The spa experience was fantastic! It’s a bit different from what you might find at American spas, but it’s worth it. My aches and pains disappeared after the treatments—talk about a relief! There are plenty of spa options available, just a heads-up that they also offer medical rehabilitation. Now, about the food—I have to be honest, I wasn’t too impressed. The chicken, pork, potatoes, and cabbage were pretty bland, and breakfast didn’t go as planned when they served fish instead of eggs. The coffee machine broke everyday, I was there. So, if you’re looking to eat, come with your own food plan. I suggest heading to the bar and ordering a pizza for dinner or head to town. You’ll enjoy it more!"

"We visited Piestany only for 1 day and stayed in Zuckman Villa apartment. We were surprised how beautiful is apartment designed. We ussually dont like to stay in different places other than our home, but this Place is unique and we felt very good in here. Location is in center of town and terraces were full of people in the evening. Very lively place. Thank you Zuckman villa, we will visit next time for sure. Branislav"

"I was there for the 3rd time, this time with my daughter to have some relax in thermal town. I have chosen again this hotel for its services, restaurant, nice position in the park. And especially for the free swiming pool open from early morning till late evening. Arrived on Saturday 23/05, all seemed OK. Sunday morning we went to swim, it was perfect. Monday morning we went to swim - the pool was empty, no announcement what is going on. The reception told us that it is an emergency, some leaks and will be closed for 3 days, till 27/05. Later the announcement only in Slovak language, nearby the lift. I wonder if the other foreigners have undersood something ... But more strange was the fact that these "some leaks" seemed the planned restoration of the pool, they painted the ceiling!!! And moreover, after some days I have read in the local paper that the Hotel welcomed the national congress of nurses, starting on 28/05. And also that on 31/05 there was a celebrating evening and dinner for the official opening of the thermal season, with the rappresentatives from the Municipal office and the friendship cities. So where is the truth? It seems that the hotel management decided to "make more pretty" some hotel's locations, the pool included, to show it to the guests. Because the leaks could be repaired in some hours, not 3 days. What is absolutely inaccepted that we, the guests with booked period, were not advised in time, I would change the period of our stay and not paid over 800 euros for inesisting service!!!"

"I will start with the very positive..The rooms are large spacious spotless clean well appointed and truly very good. the hotel is largely incredibly clean. This is a spa hotel that has to decide which market it is catering to ...a mass of impoverished older people or a select richer bunch.. i do wish to categorically state the food provided is genuinely revolting...and I like Slovak food..and the standard here is abysmal. No wonder the Germans have left en masse. I would stay here again but not indulge the restaurants or some of the rather unpleasant staff running some of the treatments. And a big warning ...people say they speak English German etc and they most emphatically do not. So in summary ok but avoid the restaurants."
