Majoittuminen meni odotusten mukaisesti eli olimme todella tyytyväisiä. Huoneesta, ravintolasta ja spasta oli upeat näköalat! Standard huone oli muutoinkin todella mukava ja siisti. Asiakaspalvelu oli mukavan karjalaisen aitoa ja ystävällistä. Spassa sai rahalleen vastinetta ja menee itsellänikin ehkä top 1 Suomen kylpylöistä! Satuttiin sinne hyvin rauhalliseen, mutta voi hyvin olla, että kokemus on aivan erilainen, jos on ruuhkaa ja hulinaa.

Mukava hotelli, erittäin hyvällä paikalla! Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja pidin huoneiden teemoista. Mukavia "mökkimäisiä" yksityiskohtia kuten tikkataulut, Reinojen lainaus ja neulontatarpeet aulassa. Oli oikein hyvä päätös viettää yksi yö hotellissa kahden luonnossa vietetyn yön jälkeen.
Hyvä aamupala, mutta erityisruokavaliot pitäisi olla merkittynä paremmin (esim. laktoositonta ei ollut merkitty jälkiruokapöytään ollenkaan).
Miinusta lisäksi siitä, että äänieristys käytävään oli tosi huono. Heräsin kahdeksan aikaan kilinään kun siistijä kokosi kärryynsä juomalaseja. Lisäksi spassa ei toiminut yksi allas, jota odotin eniten. Sitä ei saatu päälle henkilökunnalle ilmoituksesta huolimatta.

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer (absolut empfehlenswert, wegen der Aussicht…wir hatten zwar schlechte Sicht, aber für das Wetter kann das Hotel nichts). Das Zimmer ist zweckmässig, vor allem das Bad. Negativ empfanden wir, das eher teure und nicht inkludierte Spa (39€ pro Erwachsener), der Parkplatz ist ca 300 Meter die steile Strasse runter und die Standseilbahn war ausser Betrieb und im Bad roch es ein wenig. Sehr gut ist das Restaurant, das Früchstück und die Aussicht.

Ich war überrascht. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Berggipfel. Tolle Aussicht und stylische Architektur. Das Restaurant hatte Sterne Niveau. Leider musste ich morgens schon sehr früh abreisen. Die Seilbahn zum Parkplatz fährt aber erst ab 7 Uhr. Also musste ich zu Fuß zum Parkplatz laufen um das Auto vor das Hotel zu fahren. Das war das einzige Manko.

Wunderschöne Lage . Zimmer in Ordnung, werden aber der Kategorie „Superior“ und entsprechenden Preis nicht annähernd gerecht , Zimmerreinigung und Handtuchtausch : Fehlanzeige ! Service ansonsten allenfalls Durchschnitt. Frühstück unterdurchschnittlich von Qualität und Auswahl (Obst aus der Dose, 1 „fruchtfreie“ Erdbeermarmelade etc.) . Unbefriedigende Parkplatzsituation . Und Achtung: Hier wird versucht, aus allem Geld zu machen! SPA kostet extra, OP-Masken werden teuer angeboten, Wanderkarte (ein farbig bedrucktes DIN A 4 Blatt) für 2 Euro. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend !

This was my second visit here with my family. We drove here for 5 and a half hours,it is well worth the drive. We arrived and got our room which was spacious and cosy with a view overlooking the lake. There was fun little details in the room like the mood rock and eye relaxing stones in the fridge. There was also white and red wine and sparkling wine waiting for extra charge. We got into our complimentary robes and flipflops and went to the spa. The spa fee included packages with Lumene spa products that could be changed for sparkling wine and alcohol free drinks for our teenagers. The spa is small but very relaxing with differents showers,saunas and a steam room, a cold pool and outside tub and lounge areas. The best is the pool with underwater classical music. There is a beautiful view overlooking the lake from the spa windows. After the spa we had a nice dinner in the restaurant,prices are mid range. After dinner we climbed to Ukko-Koli to see the sunset at ten pm. It was breathtaking with birds singing in the backround. The next morning we had a great breakfast. The breakfast buffet is good quality with multiple choises and locally produced products. This was a totally relaxing trip with calm and quiet surroundings. The next day was saturday and there was a lot more guests,so it was not so quiet.

When we arrived, the hotel was nearly fully-booked. But the personnel on the desk had time to show the free room types live and finally she could find us a very nice room with the awesome view from the window to the lake Pielinen, very pleasant service from her. Not a surprise that these views have innovated Finnish poets in the past. The self hotel is at the top of Koli national park, very unique and fine. When enjoying a good breakfast, there was also a nice view from the restaurant to the lake district. The sports activities were nice and enjoyable, thanks to the terrain and the sun also.

Excellent hotel with beatiful views. Spa was really nice and quiet atleast in middle of the week, also the staff was very positive! Room was great with scenic nature view. There was a prime minister fireplace near the hotel and it was well kept during winter time. I recommend higly visiting there, and you can buy some firewood from the reception. Hotel restaurant was a bit over priced in my opinion.

Visited here Oct2023 and probably missed a lot because of snowstorm + cloudy weekend. National Park starts from door and is amazing like they always are. Hotel itself is proper but serves nothing special. Spa was closed and rooms were just standart. Restaurant was okay (normal S-group selection). Positive thing was hand-made karelian pies - dont give these away...
