Seabank House Bed and Breakfast Hummingbird

This is a beautiful Victorian style house inside and outside. There is a very comfortable living room and breakfast room. We had the Royal Room with a king bed that was very comfortable. Quiet air conditioning. Owners Elizabeth and Glenn were easy to get in touch with if we had any problems. We did have problems with the internet in our room but had no problem if we brought our laptop down to the living room. Breakfasts were very good. The first morning was eggs benedict and the second morning were omelets. We spend four weeks traveling around the Maritimes and this was one of the best places stop in at. Thank you for such a comfortable place to stay.

Comfortable B and B perfectly located when you come off the PEI ferry. Owners were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable with thoughtful provision in bathroom etc. Nice sitting room with books, comfortable chairs. Walking distance into Pictou and menus for the relatively limited choice of restaurants provided. Good breakfast except didn't have any veggie option when I said not eating eggs.

This is a perfect B+B: a lovely room, good bathroom (en suite), beautifully restored house, absolutely clean, and a delicious breakfast! One could want nothing more from a B+B! Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, As Mary Poppins would have said: “Perfect in every way!”

Wonderful restored home, now an elegant and comfortable B&B. Glenn and Elizabeth are excellent hosts. Modern bathroom in a charming bedroom. Check out the historical photos in the dining room. Great place to stay on your way to or from the Caribou / Wood Island Ferry to PEI.

We were planning to catch the last ferry from Caribou yesterday after flying into Stanfield, but Air Canada had other plans. Our flight from Toronto was delayed, so we re-booked for the next morning. Glenn snd Liz accommodated us at the last minute. We arrived late and left early the next morning. The bed was great, best one yet on our trip. Was not expecting to sleep well with all the travel, but miraculously had a great sleep. The house was clean, quiet, and beautiful. They even made a little breakfast and coffee for us to take for the early ferry the next morning. For my wife it has become a home away from home since she travels to Pictou frequently. Thank you to you both, Glenn and Liz!

Needing to find accommodations in Pictou for a court proceeding we found this gem on the Internet and are we glad we did..The house is beautiful tho under minor renovation in parts which doesn’t hinder the operation in the least…The bedrooms are beautiful and cozy and each have their own private bathrooms…They have a beautiful living room which is open to all to go sit and play games or just sit and enjoy a nice drink of wine and conversation as we did…Tea and coffee are available at all times in the breakfast area..In the morning a tasty breakfast is cooked by the wonderful hostess Elizabeth and served by her cheerful husband Glenn…These two are DEFINETELY in the right job as are the most accomadating, friendly, obliging couple who we were so Blessed to have met…We went to their home as strangers and left as Friends and will be back for sure…If you looking for a home away from home this is the place for you!
