The Old Manse - Pickering

"The Old Manse is a great little find. Just off the main road so any easy stroll to the shops, pubs etc. We were given a warm welcome and our room was on the top floor so we had a lovely outlook. The room was large with a beautiful feature bed. Everything we needed was provided and the room.and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a full range of items on the menu. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was very tasty. Bonus...they make a great pot of tea! The staff were all very friendly and its all topped off with ample parking."

"Die Stadt Pickering ist gut, wir haben eine Nacht hier mit einem Dampfzug gelebt. Das Hotel ist ähnlich wie ein Familienhotel, die Umgebung ist noch vorhanden, aber der Service ist im Grunde nicht vorhanden. Das Frühstück enthält zwei Frühstücken, aber ein Kind, das mehr als ein Kind kauft, ist ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte- und ein Kälte Der Kellner sagte, dass die Erwachsenen auf dem Restaurant jederzeit angebracht sind und keine Mengenbeschränkungen bestehen. Wir bestellen mehrere Gerichte zusammen, die als ein einziges Produkt betrachtet wurden. Das Ergebnis ist, dass jeder Gerichte zugeschnitten sind. Wir sehen, dass sie nicht auf dem Tisch sind, wenn wir nicht fertig sind. Schließlich zahlt man die Rechnung, dass wir mehr als zwei hot foods bestellen, und die nicht bestellten Mahlzeiten sind da, wenn sie bestellt sind, das Kind muss auch nach hot foods bezahlen. Die Streitigkeiten sind nicht abgeschlossen, sie hören die Erklärung überhaupt nicht. Und umso mehr, als wir ein Essen bestellen, haben wir auch deutlich gesagt, dass die Kinder kalt essen wollen, und wir bestellen mehr als drei Menschen. Warum erinnert der Kellner uns nicht daran?! Der Service ist zu schlecht!"

"Terrible stay, the room was not thoroughly cleaned, broken glass on the room floor, the shower broken, leaking water everywhere. The restaurant was closed the night we arrived, limited service other nights, items not available on the menu and the drinks bar where also short on stock"

"I have had the good fortune to stay here on several ocassions and it never fails to Impress! Set in a beautiful forest location, High Dalby House covers all the bases in spectacular fashion. The attention to detail in everything they do leaves you breathless. The grounds themselves are spectacular, from the Labyrinth and Chapel on one end to the Cwtch and reflective gardens on the other end, with many places to sit of recharge your batteries. This attention to detail continues inside the main house where the individual rooms are wonderfully appointed and the commons areas are warm and cozy. And to seal the deal, the food is wholesome and wonderfully presented, with every little whim of the guests catered to. This is a complete experience from beginning to end!"
