Hidden Valley Eco Spa Lodges & Day Spa

We were looking forward to 4 days of recreation at the end of our 5-week desert vacation. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. As soon as we arrived you are greeted with a poster saying that the business is for sale. We were more than aware of this throughout our stay. A “warm welcome” was out of place here. The word hospitality is a foreign word. We were perceived as a burden on the staff. Housekeeping was only done once the day before departure. The special services included in the price – bottle of sparkling wine and cheese platter – were not delivered. The additional “Dinner Platter” and “BBQ Platter” we booked are simply a disgrace. You pay like you would with a star chef and only one person is fed. The grill oven that we used for the additionally booked breakfast hamper was simply picked up the following day. It's a shame we had bought food for this grill oven for the following days (unfortunately there was no oven in the kitchen). Furthermore, as overseas guests, we had informed guest service in advance (in good time - 4 weeks in advance) that we had to have 2 important letters delivered to the hotel address (which is standard service for a 4-star hotel). We were then informed by email that the team was completely overloaded and that such a service was not offered, but that they wanted to try the best. When we arrived - as expected - no one was aware of the issue and when we asked the owners, they got the following strange answer: "We have returned the letters to the sender". Thank you very much for this great achievement. However, what we would like to highlight: The hotel room was very well furnished. The fireplace and the whirlpool invite you for relaxing time. A big thank to the wellness team – the massages we booked were excellent!

What a amazing place We go as often as we can ! I think we are up to at least 12 stays !! The lodges are absolutely stunning and the staff very professional and accommodating!! This by far is our favourite place ever !! Can’t wait to return

My wife and booked the pamper package at a cost of $1750. It was our anniversary gift to each other so the cost was maybe not so important to us. The place is very nice and clean, just as their brochure states, the staff are all very nice. In the end we received exactly what was stated in the details. However, there are so many conflicting reviews about Hidden Valley, here's why I think that is. Yes it's overpriced, we knew that, it was twice the cost of the next full day massage package we found. But it was the experience we wanted, not just the massage. If you are looking for pure hands on body value for money go elsewhere, this place is about more than that. After 7 hours we only had 2 small misgivings, firstly you don't expect to walk across a dirty gravel car park on a 10° day wearing a bathrobe, that needs sorting. Second, afternoon tea should be a little more than a cup of herbal and a slice of supermarket cake, just saying. All in all, if cost is an issue don't book, but if you want to feel a little special, this is your place.

We highly recommend Hidden Valley!! Brilliant place to unwind and relax in luxury. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and did an exceptional job at our couples Spa visit. Lodge was peaceful and the complementary items, including the port and cookies, were much appreciated. We were not disturbed for the two night stay for our wedding anniversary. Very beautiful bushland and picturesque orchard areas for a drive or walks with good restaurants around. We loved the getaway and indulgence. We hope to be back one day, thank you!

A simply sublime couple's getaway. The staff were brilliant, friendly and respectful, while the surroundings were wonderfully decadent. The lodge was stylish, clean, bed huge, soft and comfortable. The food provided was fresh and champagne chilled to perfection. The spa was lovely and relaxing especially the divine couple's massage. The perfect romantic getaway.

I let the staff know that the spa was cold and didn't heat up in 8 hours and was told that it was my fault for not calling ahead to make sure. Apparently because other guests staying the same night haven't complained then it must have been my fault. Don't stay if you want to use the facilities advertised on the site
