Amaya Retreat

We were supposed to have a nice retreat trip for our anniversary but the place ruined our time. Fairly, the place itself is in the nice location not quite far from Hanoi. with pine trees and pleasant weather. But it seems like the investors rushed to open it without well trained staffs and good preparation. We paid more than $100/ night to have instant noodle for breakfast (it is a joke). Even though there were like 5 guests at that time but it took almost an hour for the kitchen to cook the simple food. Breakfast was poor but the main menu was not better; more than half of the items were out of stock. The price of food like 4 stars hotel/ resort but quality was not better than just a normal food vendor, again took ages from ordering to getting food, and we were not even starving. There was no proper manager to discuss with except the owner's representative who had no clue how a professional and high class customer service should be as they named themself as 4 stars resort. Other staffs were nice but not well trained enough to make the place more professional. There were still construction going on so we were disturbed by noise most of the day without any notification or appologies from the staff/manager. Only plus point is their new room, facility, comfortable bed but expect no privacy if you come here on weekend, you can hear what people from next door. I will not come back for what it offered at the high price, and won't recommend
