Sugar Marina Hotel - Nautical - Kata Beach

Ausstattung: Ich mag den Dekorationsstil sehr, das nautische Thema, Retro und Exquisit. Umgebung: Direkt neben Kata Beach, Surfen ist sehr bequem, 5 Minuten entfernt. Hygiene: Schlechte Bewertung, im Kühlschrank stehen zwei Flaschen mit halb ausgetrunkenem Wasser, die Toilette ist nicht gespült und die Bettwäsche ist schmutzig. Der Kellner verstand kein Englisch, also ging er, nachdem er hastig sauber gemacht hatte, sehr unzufrieden, ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Service: Es gibt nur zwei Flaschen Wasser, mehr nicht, und nachts ist kein englischsprachiger Kellner zu finden. Frühstück: Es gibt nicht viele Arten, aber der Geschmack ist nicht schlecht.

I do not share such ardent enthusiasm for this hotel. The cost is far from budget, the price does not match the quality at all:(The stench of dampness and mold, plus sewage. The furniture is pretty old, and there are huge dirty spots on the refrigerator. The sheets are in holes. A separate story is the curtains: torn in a sieve)) Thank God they didn't take breakfast. The main representatives at the hotel are Russians.

No hot water is always a deal breaker for me! Main shower head also wasn’t working and the drain was severely clogged room 222

So far is all good. Will definitely recommend to stay. Location is quite strategic.

The hotel is not too far a walk away from the beach and many restaurants and bars. The staff was super warm and welcoming, and they were able to cater to my requests without hesitation. They're easily some of the nicest hotel staff ive ever had the joy of meeting. I was lucky enough to be checked in way ahead of the check-in time. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. They even provided me with a clothing iron. The hotel also provides beach towels and a beach bag for when you want to go to the beach, which was a lifesaver. I didn't personally try the pool, but it did look inviting. I would definitely go here again.

Really lovely hotel, good value for money. Located conveniently in short 5 minutes walk from Kata beach and 10 minutes from less crowded Kata Noi. A bit uphill, but the climb is short and not difficult at all. A few nice Thai food cafes and European-like Two Chefs with the best burgers nearby, also a Family Mart and good massage (Tum Rub) just a couple of steps from the hotel. Things we loved about the hotel: awesome design, real king-size bed (but it's hard and not everyone loves that), cozy sofa. No unpleasant smells from the sewer, decent wi-fi (enough for video conference calls and remote work) and air conditioner that does its job extremely well. Also: most welcoming personnel ever! Coffee on call service is the best :) Things we found less pleasant: the hotel isn't brand new and it starts showing in small details like lime-covered tap in the bathroom or dented basement of the sofa. The bathrooms aren't completely separated from the rooms, you'll hear every sound and smell every bad smell. The hotel building is located next to a busy road, so it could bother you if you're a light sleeper. The cleanliness isn't perfect and they changed our linen maybe once a week. The shower, though hot, was weak (no hope to wash out sand from your hair). I also can't quite recommend the restaurant in the hotel, the food is expensive and you wait for it for ages. Although the breakfast seemed to have lots of varieties and looked decent enough. All in all, there are some downsides, but overall it's a good place to stay.

離卡塔沙灘近，酒店重新裝修過，設施比較新，前台男服務員會講中文，唯一不太滿意是一次性洗漱用品太少，衹有一塊肥皂和浴帽，沒有牙刷梳子吹風機，可能我沒找到？早餐我覺得不錯，周圍吃的也挺多，推薦two chiefs restaurant，就在門口100米左右。對了離711也很近，買東西很方便。但從小卡塔海灘住過來以後明顯感覺大卡塔海灘人又多甚至有臭味，還是小卡塔海灘好，對酒店本身挺滿意，Google地圖顯示四星級，衹要四百出頭就能住最好房型，同價位裏算很好的。
