Blue View House Phi Phi

A few things to note: Pros: - great view of phi phi - lovely staff who were very kind and helpful - cheap price for room - close to amenities without being in the middle of the nightlife Cons: - TONNES of steep stairs to get to hotel reception and rooms. I am 25 and relatively fit, and these would not be pleasant for more than 1 night. Going up and down them was a task, particularly a few times per day. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who are unfit. - Can still hear some noise from town at night unfortunately which interrupted my sleep a bit - Rooms very basic and quite run down. Hotel in general in need of a refurbishment and revamp. Would unlikely stay here again, but what you pay for is what you get which is totally fair in this case!

Stayed here for 5 nights and overall is a decent option for a decent price, which year after year becomes increasingly difficult on Phi Phi! Please note that in-order to reach your bungalow we had to climb around 100 steps at a steep incline. So if you’re not able bodied please consider this when you will potentially do this 2/3 times per day. Staff met us at the pier and led us to the resort, which was around a 20min walk. Room was basic but clean and tidy with an amazing view of Phi Phi island, which is really what you book for, but don’t expect luxury. Staff were really friendly throughout and room was serviced each time we hangered to do so. The only downside which unfortunately wouldn’t lead me to book again was the noise, even though we were far up the noise from the beach bars kept us up most nights. This could be maybe addressed by supplying earplugs to each house. A fan should also be provided as we do not like to sleep with the air con on and this would also drown out noise too. The view amazing, the room basic but clean, staff friendly but I’d look elsewhere next time.

The staff is very kind, friendly, and accommodating ! The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. The only downside were the stairs getting up to the room, but the climb was worth it to be away from the hustle and bustle of the night life.

The staff of the hotel is really nice and gentle! The room was good and the price quite fair. The only bad thing is that there's a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, so if you have any moving disability, it might not be a good option. But still, I definitely recommend it!

Excellent stay at Blue View House! We really enjoyed it. Amazing views from the balcony. Rooms were clean and comfortable with very good A/C. There are a lot of steps up to the rooms but we were happy to get a bit of exercise each day! Staff were very friendly and helpful. They met us at the pier to carry our bags. Highly recommend!

The worst thing is the 200+ steps you have to climb to get from the lane to your room! Especially if you arrive in the afternoon to a baking hot room and the AC needs an hour to catch up to the broiling room, it is not the best first impression! Add to that the sound of construction that is going on in the property and the constant sound of drilling despoiling the afternoon calm, things do take a turn for the worse. No information or apology was provided for this urban noise pollution. The only positive is the view of the sea (but you can pay 30 THB for the viewpoint as an alternative) and the lady at the reception who is always welcoming and ready to tackle whatever you throw at her. She gave us all the bottles (on a 2 per day basis) that our stay required the moment we checked in plus 2 small chilled ones for the grind up the steps. The TV has almost no channels for non-Thai speakers and the bathroom has a light so dim that only the blind would feel at home shaving. I had to shave in the main room. Paper thin wooden walls so expect to hear everyone around, above and below you including the blaring music from the clubs that goes on till 2AM at least. Just 2 charging points in the entire room including 1 next to the bed. Balconies separated by bamboo slats so you also see the people on the adjoining balconies through them. As I said, come here only for the view.
