"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Schloss genossen!! Wir waren in der Junior Suite untergebracht, die einfacher ist, aber die mittelalterliche Atmosphäre, die das Schloss bietet, nicht beeinträchtigt. Wir fühlten uns wirklich wie Könige, das Zimmer war sauber und alles war gut organisiert, wir wurden von der Rezeption bis zu unserer Abreise sehr gut betreut. Was für ein toller Ort! Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und alles war köstlich. Wir lieben von ganzem Herzen, das tun wir wirklich! Ohne Zweifel werden wir eines Tages wiederkommen ♥️ Hinweis: 1. Tipp: Die Armbänder, die wir beim Einchecken zum Frühstück erhalten, dienen auch als Ermäßigung (50 %, wenn ich mich nicht irre) im Parque do Castelo (nur für Gäste). Wir wussten es nicht, aber wir haben es dort entdeckt und sind sogar in der Lagune Rad gefahren, lol. Sie bieten auch Ziplining, Airsoft, Angeln und einen Erholungsbereich mit Spielzeug für die Kinder. 2. Tipp: Das Restaurant Taberna do Castelo de Itaipava, das sich am gleichen Ort wie das Frühstück, im Schloss selbst, befindet, ist das Beste! Von Montag bis Donnerstag gibt es nur zur Mittagszeit (ab 12 Uhr) ein Tagesmenü zu einem sehr günstigen Preis (genauer gesagt 41,90 R$). Wir bestellten das argentinische Lendenstück in Madeira-Sauce mit Piamontese-Reis und rustikalen Kartoffeln als Beilage, was köstlich war, und die 4 Optionen auf dieser Speisekarte auch alle zum gleichen Preis wie oben (Foto der hier enthaltenen Gerichte). Und es steht sowohl Gästen als auch Nicht-Gästen offen. 3. Tipp: Das Frühstück gibt es wochentags von 7.00 bis 10.00 Uhr und an Wochenenden und Feiertagen von 7.30 bis 10.30 Uhr. Ich empfehle, sehr früh aufzustehen und es am Anfang zu genießen, wenn Sie auch ein Frühstückssüchtiger sind und es genauso genießen möchten wie wir, hahaha. 4. Bonus-Tipp: Ich habe hier auch die Preisliste für Kekse, Snacks, Schokolade und Getränke eingefügt, die im Zimmer des Gastes erhältlich sind. Die Preise sind hoch und ich empfehle, diese mitzunehmen oder den Lebensmittelladen im Schloss selbst zu nutzen (funktioniert bis 23 Uhr) Die Werte sind etwas niedriger als diese, aber wir denken immer noch, dass es ein einigermaßen hoher Preis ist, es ist kein absurder Unterschied. Die Zimmergebühren werden beim Check-out bezahlt. Hier ist der Tipp! 😉"

This was reported by several people in the city who know the hotel. The elevator has never worked. It never will. Access to the rooms is via stairs and they are horrible. Accessibility score 0. The rooms are poorly maintained, destroyed. From spider webs on the ceiling to lack of finishing and loose flooring. It's not rustic. It's bad. The double beds are actually two single beds pushed together. The walls are drywall. The old floor, all loose and poorly maintained, makes noise with any movement in your room, in the neighboring room, downstairs, in the hallway, with the bus passing by on the street... Oh, the mattress is horrible. Save your back. Run away. At breakfast, they make no effort to hide the fact that you're eating leftovers from the day before. Hard cheese bread. Burnt eggs. Terrible presentation of simple things. That slice of cheese that is cut in half in every hotel, looking nice, here is torn in half in any way, even by hand. There is no glass. No cup. No plate. There is no organization whatsoever when it comes to replenishing the buffet items. Friendliness was also lacking. The staff is polite, but they are trained to react and not to act. You will be greeted with a nice good morning, but only if you say good morning first. I have stayed in bad hotels, but Grão-Pará is to be congratulated. I will not return to this hotel and I will stay away from all hotels in the Kastel chain."
