Premier Inn Peterborough North

Beverley the receptionist is one of the best employees I've met. She's helpful, kind, friendly and navigational. Carefully explaining the best route to where you want to go. She's also very welcoming to all customers making sure their comfortable having everything they need meeting customers expectations with a smile

The room was grubby with cobwebs everywhere. The meal in the restaurant when it did eventually arrive after a 50 minute wait was below average. We travel for business often and have stayed in many premier inn hotels in the past but this has been the worst so far.

Arrived at the premier inn Peterborough north at 1530 on 14/1/25. I was allocated room 124. The cost was £137.00. Upon entering the room I found it be like an ‘icebox’. Freezing cold. The temp was 12%! There was a wall mounted heater that did not work. The stand alone heater was ineffective at heating the room. There was no spare pillows. Only two on the bed. I advised the receptionist who apologised but never offered any alternative. I found it difficult sleeping as I was so cold. I woke up several times during the night because I was cold! Also, the heating system though not working was a continuous loud hum all evening/morning. All in all a very poor standard of service, especially for the price I paid. I would respectfully request that I receive some form of reimbursement.

I previously stayed in this hotel. It as a pub next door which last time I stayed was terrible this is were you eat if staying at the hotel as there is no restaurant within the actual hotel. The hotel is everything you expect from a premier inn and the reception colleague was very helpful. The hotel has now taken over the pub and the service and food has vastly improved. It has a full range menu so sometime for everyone.

Ah, Premier Inn Peterborough North – a place where my hopes for a functioning bathroom go to die. The age-old problem struck yet again: the shower’s water pressure was a pitiful whisper, barely enough to get wet, let alone feel refreshed. The bath taps offered a reasonable flow, but why do they insist on believing this will translate to the shower? It’s like assuming a watering can will work just as well when tipped through a sieve. And, of course, the shower head was fixed in place. Without a detachable option, I ended up performing a slow-motion version of shower yoga, contorting into various shapes just to get clean. What should have been a brisk 5-minute wash turned into an epic saga, complete with a soundtrack of my muttered frustration. But wait, there’s more! The toilet clearly joined forces with the shower in a rebellion against basic functionality. It flushed with the enthusiasm of a bored sloth and took an eternity to refill the cistern, making the simplest task feel like an exercise in patience and bladder control. In summary, Premier Inn Peterborough North delivered a disappointingly expected stay: showers that trickle, toilets that dawdle, and a bathroom experience that feels like an elaborate endurance test. At least they’re consistent.

Easy , friendly one night stop over. Only 1hr 30mins from Luton Airport. Late Check in Easy Thank’s to 24h réception. Pull out bed. Not So comfirtable, but on for one night. Easy to find not far from Petebourghcathedrale. Breakfast at restaurant / pub, Good value and Kids up to 16yr… eat for Free !
