Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht ein Grandhotel. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß, einem Grandhotel entsprechend eingerichtet und in einem tadellosen Zustand. Gleiches gilt für das Bad. Von der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen tollen Blick über die Altstadt von Perugia, sie verfügt zudem über einen sehr guten Sonnenschutz. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse umfangreich und schmackhaft. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch das Hotelrestaurant mit guter Speise- und Weinkarte. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das ziemlich ineffiziente und langsame Wlan. Aber wir waren nicht zum Surfen im Hotel, deshalb kein Punkteabzug.

Just returned for 4 nights at this lovely hotel after its long renovation. I was traveling with my wife and adult daughter and we had two rooms. We booked our rooms through Amex fine hotel and resorts which included free breakfast and room upgrade. I had booked executive room for my daughter and her upgrade was to a slightly higher category room with a small viewing room up a flight of stairs. Our room was a deluxe suite and we were given a patio suite as an upgrade. The rooms were both very nice. Our suite was huge with small patio and very nice bedroom and living room. The decorations were lovely. The biggest issue of the room was the air conditioning. During our visit it was quite hot and the a/c in our suite room could not cool the room to a comfortable level. The manager of the hotel was very apologetic and brought us a fan to help and assured us they would address the issue after we left for future guests but the lowest we could get the room at night was 76 to 77 degrees which was too hot for us to sleep. My daughter’s room cooled to about 70 her room was better in that regard. Additionally I found the mattress to be too firm but my wife and daughter felt it to be comfortable. Other positives were the staff were all friendly and the manager really tried to help make our stay enjoyable. The grounds were lovely and the pool was the perfect temperature. We had breakfast every day which was nice but not quite to the level I expected given the cost of the rooms but still very good. Dinner by the pool was very good with excellent pizza and pasta. We also had dinner at Cedri which was a big disappointment. We did the chef tasting meal for 155 euros per person. The dinner service was quite slow with meal taking almost 3.5 hours. The food had a few good courses but several courses were not very good. They did have an excellent wine list at reasonable choices. For the price and service at Cedri I would not recommend eating there. Overall, the resort is lovely and a beautiful setting. Had the air conditioning worked I would have enjoyed our stay but 4 sleepless nights in the heat really put a damper on our experience. If you could be confident the air conditioning was fixed I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. Given the managers eagerness to make guests happy, I think he will get it working and maybe with more time and training Cedri will improve. The area of Umbria is quite lovely and the hotel is a good base to explore perugia, Assisi, Spello etc. Don’t miss having dinner at Lillo Tatini in Panicale. It is close by and a great experience.

Ubicazione perfetta, vicino al centro ma non troppo. Ci siamo venuti diverse volte negli anni con varie gestioni e ci siamo trovati sempre bene. Stanze ampie, pulite, con tutti i comfort. Ora c'è anche la piscina risistemata. Piccola, ma sufficiente a rinfrescarsi con questa ondata di calore.

Von außen sieht das Hotel möglicherweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen aus, innen wurden aber meiner Meinung nach alle Zimmer restauriert und renoviert. Auch hat der, der die Renovierung (wirklich sehr geschmackvoll) übernommen hat, auch Sinn für sehr viel Licht gehabt. So finden Sie im Badezimmer eine Lichtleiste, die Sie in den Farben umändern können, auch in der Helligkeit. Dies hilft besonders in der Nacht, wenn man etwas orientierungslos die Toilette aufsucht. Der Ausblick vom Hotel ist sehr interessant, Sie sehen auf Teile der Stadt Peruccia. Auch liegt das Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem Parkplatz. Der letzte Vorteil ist, dass Sie von ebendort auf Rolltreppen sehr gepflegt in die Altstadt hinaufkommen, daher ist die Lage nahezu sensationell. Gezeichnet Peter Nemeth

Dieses schöne, elegante Hotel befindet sich direkt im Zentrum von schönen, eleganten Perugia. Wir haben vier Nächte hier verbracht und liebte es gerade. Unser Zimmer war sehr komfortabel, sauber und ruhig mit einem Balkon mit Blick auf die erstaunlichen Dächer von Perugia. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Tee und Kaffee wurden im Zimmer bereitgestellt. Das Badezimmer war geräumig, unglaublich sauber und stilvoll. Gute Qualität Toiletten wurden täglich bereitgestellt und nach Bedarf ausgefüllt. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag unseres Besuchs zu einem hohen Standard gereinigt. Frühstück, serviert in einem schön dekorierten Zimmer, war einer der besten, die wir je gegessen haben! Wifi funktionierte gut. Wir mochten besonders die Trinkstelle außerhalb der Aufzüge/Aufzüge, die eine Espressomaschine umfasste. Das Personal war alle angenehmen, professionell und effizient. Wir wollten nicht gehen!

Das Hotel ist recht groß, wird dementsprechend auch als Tagungshotel genutzt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich 👌 Beim Frühstück ist alles das den Hunger stielt vorhanden Kostenlose Parkplatz 👍 direkt hinter dem Hotel sowie der unproblematische Aufstieg in die Altstadt von Perugia mit der Minimetro. Der Kaffee und Saft beim Frühstück könnte besser sein. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr das Neueste und unser Zimmer verfügte lediglich über eine Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang, in der man nur im Sitzen duschen konnte. Straße bzw. Gehweg zur Minimetro könnte besser sein (Unterführung oder Zebrastreifen für die Sicherheit)

We really loved this hotel. It has a traditional hotel feel to it, with very friendly helpful staff. We started mid July and it was very quiet, so this review may reflect that as we had the run of the pool and services due to low residency. It is situated outside of the main old town centre and of you arrive without a car as we were you will need to be of moderate fitness to walk in to the town centre as it’s a steep walk up, however there is an escalator for part of the way. I would recommend visiting the Marmore falls which you can get to from Perugia station direct via Terni. Once at terni it’s a short ride on the bus. This I would say is best to arrive early for, and spend the entire day there! Also Assisi and Solleto are two other Umbrian towns on the same train line we’ll worry a visit. Travel costs are very reasonable. Overall a great place to visit, and the Perugia hotel is a lovely place to stay. Bear in mind a bus is best to catch from the station to the hotel, as when you arrive with your luggage the pavements are in very poor condition to cart a suitcase along.

we booked a room with just little notice: but everything was just perfect. It was quite a challange to reach the destination as we missed the first turn, but there are visible indications along the route. The hotel offers free parking within the area. Staff is very kind and welcoming; check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are very comfortable and quite big very clean and comfortable. Tea set at your disposal was very appreciated. The bed was very very comfortable Bathroom quite big and very clean, fluffy towels! We stayed for dinner as well: it offers a nice chioce of dishes everything was very well cooked and presented; staff very careful and nice.

First time staying in a Castle and worth every euro. The room I booked was ground floor with a terrace, but the room itself was too small for six nights. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade; lost the terrace, but the space gained was worth it and upstairs, the view was much better! The entire staff were delightful and very accommodating, for which we were grateful. Breakfast was peaceful on the restaurant's patio overlooking the gardens and valley. You can see Perugia from the parking area, and we were lucky enough to see fireworks from there one night.

We spent 12 days in Umbria and used Perugia as our home base. This lovely hotel is about 10 minutes from the center of Perugia. You must have a rental car to stay here as the bus rarely comes by and it is not within walking distance of Perugia center. We had a car so no issues for us, There is excellent on site free parking. The hotel is wonderful. Big thanks to the fabulous Jessica and Aymen at the front desk! They helped us every day and made dinner reservations for us several times. They were always warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and lovely. The shower is small, but typical for Europe. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate is phenomenal. There is nothing they have not thought of to serve!! The staff at breakfast are also absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!! Highly recommend.
