A great apartment with everything you need,really enjoyed our stay here, even so much we extended our holiday by another 12 days 😎, The apartment is very clean, with everything you need for a self catering holiday, The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.There are cleaners who ring door bell everyday and provide clean towels, clean tea towels & toilet rolls if required and mop the floor & empty bins, it's a gated premises with plenty of parking right next to your apartment and it is budget friendly aswell, okay it is November and out of season but weather is still very good 20 degrees and mainly sunny. There is also a laundry service or do it yourself, again very reasonable prices & a pool which all balconies look over, it's got everything and I'm very happy I booked ”Villas Barrocal”. Plus air-conditioning in the living room & bedroom if needed.

The golf course itself was good with some interesting holes and thanks to the recent rain it was in good condition. We didn’t stay but came for the day twice to play first O’ Connor and then Faldo which was the better of the two. Practice areas are terrible and a disgrace both in size and condition for a course charging E160O or so. Starting at 111.30 one had hoped that the food buggy might come round but it didn’t as it was the operators day off and one man did both courses and finally reached us at the 16th by which time he had run out of sandwiches. Apparently it was the day off of the other operator which means that for two days a week it is going to be unsatisfactory. Why not put one of the many people doing little business in the shop on a buggy to help out We arrived to witness one of the staff charging around in a buggy( our buggy was strictly regulated to go slow in certain areas. He had a head on crash with one of the guests and cut himself on the head. Not impressive Same people used to run Palmares which has benefitted hugely from new management. Someone needs to wave a magic and over this place and it could be great but not at the meoment

Nachdem sie die Wohnungen (nur wegen der lokalen Straßen) gefunden hatte, begrüßte Paula uns und zeigte uns in unser Zimmer. Unspottlich sauber, anständige Studio-Wohnung. Dank Google Translate erklärte Paula alles über das Komplex und schlug auch ein paar lokale Restaurants vor. Wir sahen sie mehrere Male in den 5 Tagen, die wir dort waren, hatte sie immer ein Lächeln und fragte, ob alles ok war. Wir fanden die Bars/Cafés im Dorf wirklich preiswert, aber wenn Sie ein 'passendes' Essen wünschen, gehen Sie zum Meer für mehr Auswahl an Restaurant und nur etwas teuer.
