Shocking! Totally unprofessional Where do I start? Right from the debacle of our check-in, to the manager knocking on our door at 8pm, the stay was comical and not in a good way! On arrival our booking couldn’t be found, apparently our fault; we paid for the night upfront and told we could pay for the other night the next day. Once in the room we were stunned at the dilapidated state of the room! At £125 p/night anyone would expect better! We tried to pull the curtain but the rod was not even on the support and the curtain was hanging down and out of its hooks! After climbing up to fix it (so we could pull the curtain’s at night to sleep), we noticed the tie backs for the curtain were very loose on the wall and knobs falling off! At this point we didn’t want to touch anything incase it broke and we got the blame it! We politely told the staff about the damage in the room for 2 reasons, 1 to be courteous to let them know (and to fix it) and 2 it is not a good look to pay for a broken room! Breakfast was nice and the young lady running around on her own was brilliant! After breakfast we left and had a nice day out. We got back to see our room had not been looked at to fix the items mentioned. Oh well we thought, so we settled in for the night. We had a knock at the door at 8pm… It was a guy called Matt, we now know it was the manager! He explained to us that he had not managed to get into a room to look at or even fix the curtain etc. He then insinuated that it was our fault that he couldn’t get in as we had the only keys… Apparently the previous guests had taken the set of keys with them, this was our fault how? The conversation deteriorated and his customer service was in the drain. He seemed to have an excuse for everything and all but blamed us for the damage discussed. The final straw was when he said that if we didn’t like it, he wouldn’t charge us for the night, and we could check out now… It was 8pm, and we were in our pyjamas! He mentioned that we hadn’t even paid for the room for this night-we offered to pay for both nights upon arrival!! We then offered to pay in the morning -he then said no one would be there to take the payment…hmmm a hotel that has no one on their reception in the morning, very interesting. Matt, the manager, defended everything we said, and at no point, did he apologise for the inconvenience of disturbing us at this time of night, nor the lack of attending to our room, nor did he even suggest any sort of solution, in fact, he said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the room, and there was no damage! It was at this point, I pulled out my phone and showed him the photographs we had taken at the time of check-in to show the damage and prove that it was not us that did it (as he insinuated that it was)-he apparently asked his Housekeeping. Well, I don’t think I’ve ever been so insulted or spoken to as a “guest of Hotel” in a more derogatory, patronising manner. The absolute kicker is he offered us a discount…of £5!

Das gesamte Hotel hat nur einen ”Neuanfang” und eine neu gebaute Hütte ”Penwith” mit nur ”4 Zimmern” kann bewohnt werden, alle Zimmer im Haupthaus sind sehr abgewohnt und mehr Hotel als ein Hotel. Die 16 Quadratmeter große Zimmerkategorie ”Penwith 4”, in der ich übernachtet habe, ist bereits die zweithöchste Zimmerkategorie in diesem Hotel, und ich muss mein Glück versuchen... Ich kann mich nicht für 1, 2, 3 oder 4 entscheiden bei der Buchung. Zusammenfassend: Die Zimmertypen 1 und 2 befinden sich im ersten Stock, die Zimmertypen 3 und 4 müssen durch einen sehr engen Korridor nach oben gehen, was sehr unpraktisch ist, um großes Gepäck zu tragen; Das Bett ist sehr weich und es liegen viele Haare auf dem Boden. Spinnweben, der Badezimmerbereich ist ca. 6 qm groß, ”im Vergleich zu” dem Gefühl des Gästezimmers... es ist recht geräumig. Das Frühstück ist das häufigste englische Frühstück ... keine Überraschungen und nichts Besonderes. Weil es ein Gast ist... also ist das Parken kostenlos. Durch die Nähe zum Meer weht der Wind besonders stark. Es lohnt sich nichts Zeit zu verbringen. Sofern Sie nicht die 16 km entfernte kleine Stadt Penzance besuchen, ist der empfohlene Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten die Grenze. An diesem Ort zu leben hat nicht den Begriff ”genießen”, sondern nur für ”unten bleiben” und der Preis ist niedrig!

1. Auf einer kleinen Hügel in der Stadt von Zhangzang, in 20 Minuten zum Stadtzentrum, ist es immer noch sehr bequem für die Reise, auch sehr nahe vom Zhangzang-Bahnhof und dem Hafen. Fahren Sie nach San Michelle Mountain 15 Minuten. 2, Das Hotel bietet viele Einzelgerichte, die Landschaft der Meeresräume ist sehr gut und es ist empfehlenswert. Wenn Sie ein Frühstück zu warmen Mahlzeiten brauchen, um etwas zu erhöhen, sind die anderen Mahlzeiten auch gut. 3. Wenn Sie sich selbst fahren, benötigen Sie ein Telefonhotel für einen Parkplatz, etwa 4.5 £ pro Tag Parkgebühr. 4. Die Stornierungsregeln des Hotels sind 14 Tage vorzeitig annulliert werden können. 5. Die Gebäude im Hotel sind relativ schlank und es gibt keine Lift, es kann nicht sehr bequem sein, dass es zu viele Gepäckstücke gibt.

Fünf-Sterne-Empfehlung, super Lage, unbesiegbarer Meerblick, inklusive Frühstück, hauptsächlich die Aussicht ist sehr gut, direkt neben dem Bahnhof, es gibt eine kleine Straße, das Restaurant und die Bar bieten Meerblick und es gibt eine große Außenterrasse, auf der Sie trinken können Nachmittagstee, an der Bar sitzen, abends trinken, draußen den Meerblick beobachten. Das Zimmer, das ich gebucht hatte, war relativ klein, aber es war nicht schlecht. Es gab auch Hausschuhe und Bademäntel, Badetücher usw. Es war nur ein paar Minuten bis zum Strand. Es war sehr praktisch.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I loved waking up to the beautiful sea view in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. While it's not right in the center of town, the bus stop is just a few minutes away, making it very convenient to get around.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel. Von Anfang bis Ende. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und willkommen, was nach einer langen Reise am wichtigsten ist. Das Zimmer wurde gereinigt und gut ausgestattet, um Ihren Aufenthalt zu unterstützen. Sie unterstützten uns auch, als unsere Kleidung vom vorherigen Tag nass war. Essen war auch hier ein Highlight. Alles war lecker. Ich würde einen Besuch hier empfehlen. Es ist ein Muss, weil es nahe Penzance ist, aber gleichzeitig ruhig. Sie werden ein Auto brauchen, um hier zu fahren.
