Vivanti Resort

Aside from the staff and the hotel's stunning views, I DON'T recommend this place at all. Its access is very risky because there is no paved road; it's a narrow, dangerous route with mud and slippery stones. The hotel has a beautiful design, but it is not in the best condition, as some amenities like the pool and jacuzzis sometimes malfunction. The rooms lack air conditioning, which becomes a problem after a day in the heat and pool. They only have an old, noisy fan that makes sleeping uncomfortable, often forcing you to keep the window open if you're lucky and your room has a window. However, this increases the risk of mosquitoes since the area has many. Overall, I do not recommend this place despite its beautiful views; it’s not worth the risk and inconvenience.

We stayed two nights at Vivanti. We were truly surprised by the beauty of this resort. We stayed in the suite with a jacuzzi on the terrace, and the views, comfort, and convenience were amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and respectful, always available to help us with anything we needed. Having traveled to many tourist destinations, we believe this resort lives up to the standards of a 5-star hotel.

This hotel is beautiful there is just a natrual atmosphere that is so peaceful the service is so good specially Jose he was so attentive and professional I would consider eating here every time. The food was very good and tasted so fresh. Jose was very nice and took care of us and where we needed to go. Thank you Vivanti!!

I absolutely loved Vivanti the room was beautiful, food and drinks amazing. The view is breathtaking, the only thing I’d say is to be careful getting in and out of the jacuzzi in the Deluxe room since there is no step into. Other than that I loved it and I will definitely be going back

Terrible experience! We booked 4 rooms including what they call the presidential suite. We had water coming inside the room from the ceiling 4 out of the 5 nights. We lost power on the 4 day but they would not turn on their generator for 45 minutes, no way down from the third floor except via the emergency stairs which happened to be inside our “presidential suite”. So of course all the guests had to go through our room in order to access the emergency exit. The food at their restaurant was ok but many times cold. We stayed over a long weekend in which they sell day passes and this made the place crowded and the service even slower. The lack of accountability from the staff was disappointing to say the least. As a Colombian native I visit Medellin at least twice a year and have stayed in different resorts in the area but this was by far the worst experience Ive had.
