We booked Cringletie for our Intimate Wedding (just the two of us) and as we live in Kent we relied solely on phone and email communication. Kirsty the wedding planner was nothing short of exceptional with all her help and guidance with the initial planning, and upon arrival was so welcoming and calming! Kirsty and Leigh were our witnesses and made us feel totally at ease, the wedding ceremony was just perfect. We upgraded to the Selkirk Suite and it was sensational, so roomy and comfortable a real treat of luxury. The jacuzzi bath & shower were a welcome extra! The food served in the Sutherland restaurant was simply out of this world! We have never experienced such amazing flavours before. Hats of to the chefs! A special mention to Liam our waiter who was so attentive, polite, kind and knowledgeable. He even worked his shift on our 2nd evening with a banging migraine. Overall we were treated like royalty and the attention to detail was outstanding. A perfect, perfect stay. Thank you Cringletie!

I ended up staying at the Cardrona overnight as I was my friends plus 1 at a wedding on the 14th of September 2024. She was also doing the hair for the bride, ect, and I helped her out. It made sense to stay, as we needed to get ready for the wedding after all the bridal partys hair had been done ! We were able to get earlier access to our room, which was greatly appreciated. I thought the wedding was beautiful, The waiting staff during the meal worked extremely hard, The food was lovely too, I'm veggie, and I was delighted with the choice, The room was also discounted for all-day wedding guests, too, the bar staff were great too !I did think the price for a large glass of wine was a bit steep ! £12 ! I must mention a few special members of staff who really left a good impression! Roxanne was wonderful, so attentive, and such a warm, welcoming attitude. Alistair, who was on reception overnight, was lovely & helpful, Bayler, the night porter was absolutely wonderful ! We were really hungry later after the wedding had finished, and he very kindly made us thee most lush sandwichs! Couldn't thank him enough, I needed to take meds and had to eat ! And last, buy not least the amazing, wonderful Carol ! The housekeeping manager, She had been wonderful the last time I had stayed at the Christmas party night I attended with my husband for our anniversary, She was amazing that night and actually remembered me ! I thought that was incredible considering the number of guests she must meet ! She's just lovely and so caring. Praise where Praise is due. I did feel the duty manager seemed a bit overwhelmed. There were issues with the lifts not working, and there were people with mobility issues, including myself, They stopped working! That's really poor for a huge hotel chain, and extremely inconvenient for disabled guests, well almost impossible for them to move freely through the hotel, as the wedding venue is on the 2nd floor! The rooms are nice, but could do with a wee makeover ! Time to decorate Mr Mcdonald ! And install new lifts ! And lastly, the lovely Fiona on reception when we checked out. My husband & I will be back again in December to one of the Christmas party nights to celebrate our anniversary again. We look forward to seeing everyone then. I hope the staff are appreciated by management ! As they are all clearly very studious.

Es ist wirklich veraltet, im Vergleich zu anderen Spas und Hotels ähnlicher erste. Zum Beispiel habe ich im Dunked Haus geblieben, es war Nacht und Tag. Das Personal ist großartig, aber der Ort braucht viel Geld dafür. In unserem Zimmer 317 hatten wir ein Fernseher, das die Hälfte des Bildschirms dunkler als die andere Hälfte hatte, gute Sache, dass wir hier nicht zu sehen, das Zeug. Der Poolbereich war schön, aber die Bedürfnisse wurden renoviert. Die großen Schritte, die Sie nach unten nehmen, sind gefährlich für ältere Menschen, sie sind aufgeplackt und in einem sehr, sehr, ”note the two very's” schlechten Zustand der Dinge, um das wenigste zu sagen. Würde ich hier noch einmal bleiben, wahrscheinlich nicht bis der Ort verbessert wurde. Wenn man sich das anschaut, was ich vom Hotel gesehen habe, wird es Millionen Pfund dauern. Ich genossen die Archee, die wee Mädchen war eine große Hilfe. Die Mitarbeiter sind schön, aber es muss wirklich auf der Hotelseite verbessert werden.

Ich ging mit meinen Kindern, mid-20s und 16 Jahre, für eine Nacht weg von Edinburgh gerade vor Xmas. Es war ein Sonntag, so war es ruhig. Die Entfernung macht es einfach, für eine Übernachtung zu entkommen. Wir gingen meist für Spa und Fitness, und wir waren nicht enttäuscht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet und sind in Betrieb. Die Einrichtungen sind bis 10 Uhr geöffnet, und das Beste ist, dass wir es nach dem Absuchungstermin um 11 Uhr am nächsten Tag nutzen können. Das Beste über die Einrichtungen für uns war Sauna und Spa-Jets, so entspannend und kam weg, das Gefühl fantastisch. Die Bar-Mahl, die wir hatten, war ausgezeichnet, die Nachos waren atemberaubend und glutenfreie Optionen wurden klar gekennzeichnet, während die Wächter auch mit der Küche überprüft. Pizzas waren großartig, aber wir konnten sie nicht abschließen und sie schlagen den Rest. Cocktails waren sehr gut dargestellt, sah fab. Jedes Mitarbeiter war hilfreich und freundlich. Zimmer waren komfortabel und sauber, obwohl die Dekoration war blend und die Möbel waren ein wenig müde- schauen. Noch liebten wir die schüchternen Fußboden. Die Weihnachtsdekorationen waren schön, aber nicht über-- das-- Top. Wir werden das Wort definitiv verbreiten und wir werden zurückkehren.

Hotel was ideal for an overnight stay to meet up with family for the day. The hotel interior is lovely, with an informal feel. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff are really nice. Really close to everything in Peebles. Parking in Peebles is very limited so it’s great that they have a private car park. Lovely breakfast with quality food.

Die Bettlampe in unserem Schlafzimmer funktionierte nicht, als wir ankamen und mein Herz sank, wie es meine Erfahrung war, dass, was von der Mitarbeiterin gesagt wird, keine Fehler wird behoben! Glücklicherweise kam das Personal von Tontine auf und etwa eine halbe Stunde später wurde es sortiert und arbeitete. Ausgezeichnet! Unser Bett war extrem komfortable, alles war schön und sauber und bei sehr komfortabler Temperatur gehalten. Wir liebten das Essenszimmer und unser Frühstück war sehr lecker. Alle Mitarbeiter trafen sich sehr freundlich und wir würden in Zukunft glücklich zurückkehren!
