The Tryst menu Park Hotel Wonderful experience at the Tryst with friends, would highly recommend. Outstanding service and made so welcome by Manager, Laura and waiter, Kell. Tasting menu was absolutely delicious. I am a vegetarian and was delighted at the thought put into , presentation and tastes of each course. Chef Ryan spoke to us at the end and talked through menu. Wine pairing with each course was spot on. Will definitely be back!

Great venue, amazing service from kell maciver and manager Laura Raeburn. The menu was excellent and chef Ryan Hogg cooked each course to perfection. Wine was paired perfectly with each course. Couldn’t recommend the food at the park hotel enough ! Will definitely be back! Highly recommended

Beautiful spacious room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. There was lots of parking space and the hotel was ideally situated for the town. The food we had was plentiful and tasty. The extra leisure facilities of a nearby sister hotel were available at no cost.

We stayed here in March this year and called in for an afternoon tipple on our second visit in December, while we were staying at the Hydro. I really like the atmosphere at the Park. The staff are lovely and the blonde receptionist lady recognised us and our pup from our previous visit which is always a nice touch. There are always lovely people to chat to in the bar and we met a lovely family from Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to chat with the couple and their son, mostly about our respective dogs! The only drawback is that dogs are only allowed in bedrooms and the bar. There is a lounge area which would be a lovely place to sit with our pup. Nevertheless we will return next year for a stay. Thank you for recognising us and for your kind words.

Great location in town with garden close to the river parths and close to bus stop. Really tasty food with vegetarian options and super friendly staff. Good bed!

Dropped in hoping for breakfast. Desolate looking restaurant and received the bad news from a sullen and solitary waitress that they don’t do breakfast for non residents. And we wonder why hospitality is struggling with such a charmless establishment and lack of initiative.

Not enough bar staff to provide an acceptable service, lack of a selection of beverages. Pillows in my room were rock hard and I had two bad nights sleep due to them. The exterior of the building is very dirty and requires attention, Luckily the staff are all great, gardens well maintained too.

The taster menu was what we came for and we were not disappointed. It was excellent. Not a great deal of choice for breakfast though. Views are stunning.
