Nice Property. Helpful staff especially Abhishek and vipin. Food was very delicious. Live music made us night enjoyable. Room service is quite decent. Awesome mountain views. Perfect property for staying away from hustle bustle of city life.

Stay was very comfortable and cosy with friendly staff and a lot to f you ndoor and outdoor game facilities available at the resort. Live music was also organised in the evening which was a nice experience and food served was also really nice .

This property stands out as one of the best in the area. This property stands out as one of the best in the area. Sitting in the restaurant and eating feels so good. Staff are very polite and helpful. Abhishek and his team doing great job. Their warm and friendly demeanor enhanced my dining experience, making me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The decor was modern yet cozy, with plenty of natural light and greenery throughout the property.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere amidst the mountains. Beautiful resort from women point of view. Place has lots of games, badminton, trekking and slide/seesaw for kids. Room is spacious and couple worthy. Bathroom is clean and decorated. Extra mention goes to the staff who ensure that your stay is fully worth it. Overall a great escape from city life with delicious food cooked and served hot. High tea is experience is boosted with cookies / pakoras. Even tea is good. There is live music, drinks and vibe on saturdays and sundays.

Very Pleasant and peaceful stay in woods retreat for couple of days. Rooms are spacious, clean and aesthetically build. Food was delicious and most inportantly staff was super courteous. Every saturday they have live music in house, which is not to miss. Will definitely come again.

This is a 5-star property in Lansdowne with an amazing ambiance, and you will definitely love it. The staff is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and cozy. Hygiene is a top priority at The Woods Retreat, and it shows. The views from the hotel are simply mesmerizing. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. Special thanks to Parvinder, and Abhishek. On our special request, Abhishek also arranged a small plant, which we liked so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lansdowne.

Although the property is costly but definitely worth. The best part about the place is that it is extremely peaceful, simple and unexplored...

I went to the woods after seeing all reviews On line . Had the most horrifying experience of My life as they demand star expenses with the services of a poorly managed 2 star hotel . Their front office is the worse , managed by Mr Abhishek . I paid them ₹20000/- for 1 day with two rooms as I was with my wife & two adult kids . ₹4000 was paid extra for just one night dinner . Total paid was ₹24000/- The irony was I checked in at 1:45 pm & was finally given a room at 4:00 pm . Rationale being in the first room allotted to me the wi-fi was not working , second room was just opposite the generator room with too much noise as electricity kept going & coming & the third room was above the kitchen where you had all the foul smell of the staff smoking beedi & cigarettes. After much pleads a room was given where we Didn’t have the wi-fi working but a much better view . This finally happened after 2 hours of check in process . Mr Abhishek is not at all professional / ethical front office manager as he had better rooms on the right side of the reception & they were vacant but he insisted on giving on the left side as usually nobody would like to stay there due to bad views of hills , kitchen & Genset location . When I spoke with their GM directly on phone he insisted Abhishek to offer us a better location room . Fail to fathom when the property had vacant rooms why was not a good room given to us . Reason being he wanted to offer those rooms to walk in guests who insisted of checking the room first & then paying . They charged us ₹4000/- for dinner but the dinner quantity was pathetic , chicken manchurian was as if we are tasting rubber balls dipped in gravy. We offered it to the cat sitting outside our room window & she also refused to have it . Pahadi dal was just average so was bhindi masala , pahadi chicken was full with salt & so was honey chilli potatoes. The raita & gulab jamun were only ok and worth eating . Paying ₹4000/- for this meal was not at all justified . Morning breakfast was average & did not have anything special . My request to the management is to manage it more professionally as you have a beautiful location but a very poor management, your charges are of a star hotel but services of a Badly managed lodge . It was only after intervention of Mr vipin negi a staff member who started taking care of us that we managed to stay for the night other wise I could have checked out that day itself . I don’t know how all online views are so good after my personal experience .

Amazing stay at the Woods Retreat. Very serene, beautiful and peaceful place. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and with beautiful views and food is lip smacking. Service is top notch. Kudos to the management! Will definitely visit again. Thanks woods retreat.
