Das Hotel hat eine sehr ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Dort waren wir fast allein. Der Strand ist ein paar Kilometer lang, gut für lange Spaziergänge am Wasser.
Das Hotelpersonal war superfreundlich. Im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen.
Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.

Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal hier und es ist nach wie vor, phänomenal. Unser Lieblingsort in Costa Rica! Diese Einsamkeit und Ruhe ist unvergleichlich. Dann noch die herrlichen Wellen, die Natur und die Vögel...wundervoll. Alle Angestellten sind sehr nett, besonders hervorheben möchten wir Jean. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hell, groß und sehr sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant ist vorzüglich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist hier die Vielzahl an veganen Optionen! Das ganze Hotel inkl. Anlage macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck und es ist dort sehr sicher (Wachmann). Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Negativ - Strandliegen könnten Mal durch ein neueres/bequemeres Modell ersetzt werden

For the out of the beat location, it is a little gem! Very welcoming, quiet, clean and friendly personnel. The Pacific is your backyard and it does not disappoint. If you are just looking for chill time, this is the spot. A real Pura Vida experience.

Be aware Non realiable manager He requested our services for horseback tours We gave the service but the hotel management didnt paid. This is the last resource for us to try to get decently This is how i make a living Renting horses. This hotel abused of Me trusting them

Our stay was so good, we returned for the last 3 days of our vacation. Chad was very helpful, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food was great, the staff was awesome and friendly. Beach is just across the road, and oh, what a beach it is, with lounge chairs. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. Boogie boards used, borrowed from resort. The rooms were big, clean, had safes, and AC. My only concern was that the locks on the sliding doors don't lock, and you had to use a plastic pipe to block the slider. We will stay here again.

Faded glory comes to mind. Security when we arrived was a bit over the top which then made us think we should be super vigilant. Large room with a nice patio facing the sea. Patio furniture was dirty and bits missing. Bug screen was torn and useless. The lock on the patio door didn’t work so had to use a large pole against the window to secure the room. The bathroom smelt of bad drains and the taps were covered in limescale. Loved the highly decorated sinks and big shower with plenty of hot water. The beautiful beach is a short walk across the road and there are some beach chairs. We were able to borrow boogie boards from the hotel. The hotel pool is very warm, with not much shade but the guy at the pool bar makes fantastic margaritas. Restaurant was just okay. Staff were all lovely.

Best customer service, beautiful sunsets. Great food Las Brisas restaurant, pet friendly. Swimming 🏊♂️ pool open 24 hours. Beach across the hotel. Cocomar definitely the best place to stay when you visit Costa Rica 🇨🇷 😎🏖️☀️🏊♂️🌴🫶⛱️🌴☀️❤️🍾🌴 Pura vida

The Hotel Cocomar Resort is on a deserted beach called Palo Seco (Dry Stick in English). This is civilized hotel in a rustic beach area. The beach is gorgeous black volcanic very fine sand ... powder sand. Look up and down for miles and you might see 1 or 2 people! The staff are super! The rooms are big and have frig, AC, microwave, most rooms have ocean views with nice patio balconies! The restaurant on-site is Las Brisas and the food is 1st rate quality, make sure to eat dinner here as it is prepared by terrific chef Pito who is well respected for his high cuisine! The pool is very nice. This is a regular return place because it has the setting, the nice quality rooms, staff and restaurant! Highly recommend if your looking for very nice place that has a native feel and off the typical tourist path. Oh yeah and it has 24/7 onsite security!

Great beach access. Wonderful service. Total security and great food. What more could you ask for. The staff was very accommodating as this was a last minute booking. They spoke excellent English and completely understood our interests. We had dinner and breakfast and were very pleased with the selection and quality. We hope to stay again on our return trip in a couple of weeks.
