Hier war es 2 Nächte auf unserem Weg auf Insel auf einer Woche langen Reise. Hatte unsere 2 kleine Hunde. Wir waren so angenehmen überrascht, als wir nach der Buchung einige schlechte Bewertungen gelesen hatten. Vielleicht blieben wir nach einer Renovierung. Ich weiß nicht, aber unser Zimmer war geräumig, hell und hatte sehr komfortable Betten und Kissen, ein wenig Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Kuerig. Sehr schöne große Handtücher.. (ein MUST in einem Hotel zu diesem Preis) alles sehr sauber. Eine GREAT Dusche! kontinentales Frühstück. Ich liebe keine Teppiche, Hunde haben, obwohl sie gut ausgebildet sind, aber Sie wissen nie. Wenn ich habe und Beschwerden es wäre die Beleuchtung, die zurückgelassen wird. Kein Weg, die Betten nur für Lesen zu beleuchten, und die Bettbeleuchtung ist für diesen Zweck nutzlos. Wir lieben Parksville und würden wieder bleiben, und würden empfehlen.

We found this place not long after we got off the ferry at Departure Bay, Nanaimo , on the island, in Parksville . We didn't have a reservation, so my husband just went in and asked if they had a room. They did have one reasonably priced, so we took it for the night. Thanks for the popcorn ! We were also able to have our 2 little dogs there, which was great ! When we got in the room, I tried to turn the ac on, but it smelled dusty, so I shut it off. There wasn't any cover or filter on it, and it was dusty inside of it, so I left it off. We were only staying one night, so it was no big deal and wasn't too hot. Later thay evening we decided to see if we could get the room for another night and we were able to get the same room. It was, however, warmer the next night, so it would have been nice to put it on. The parking is free and well lit. There was a path close by to go down to the beach and a nice outdoor sitting area at the Inn. There is also an amusement place right next door with mimi golf, bumper boats, gelato, as well as other food. The room was clean with a table and chairs, a fridge, and a sm freezer and close to the departure bay ferry terminal. I would stay again if I got a room with working ac.

Wir waren froh mit diesem Motel. Die Betten waren komfortabel und das Zimmer fühlte sich geräumig. Sehr sauber. Personal war sehr nett und sorgfältig. Wir mussten unsere Reise kurz aufgrund eines kranken Verwandten schnitten. Wir haben unseren Iphone-Ladegerät vergessen. Ohne zusätzliche Gebühr (nur die Kosten der Mailing des Pakets) schickten sie uns den Ladegerät. Vielen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Worte.

I had stayed at this motel in July for 1 night under the Air B and B and loved it. It was peaceful and where as we had neighbours on both sides, (one side had a family with young children.) Both were quiet and respectful of the space. Yes the place does need some repairs and painting but I saw that they were working on it so I was fine with that. Because of my experience in July, I took my older mother there for 2 days in August for some R and R due to some hard stuff going on in our family. Sadly that experience was very different. Lets start with the positives Location: Great location with the beach steps away and the boardwalk for walking, riding or jogging Free mini golf, A nice big grassy field in front with fire pits, volleyball net and swings. Lots of space for kids and families to roam around. Kitchenette; A full size fridge and very well stocked with appliances. Comfy beds Sadly, there were many CONS: Inside, our room had a broken patio door latch but I could use my thumb to lock it. When I went to report it the next morning, I was informed that there was a lock at the bottom to use. We should have been informed of that when we checked in. The bathmat was disintegrating and did not stick to the bottom of the tub and bits were coming off. I reported that the next day and was informed that “they would find me a new one if they had one”. We did receive a brand new one later that day. On one of the beds, the bedskirt was thrashed. It looked like a cat had ripped it apart. Boundaries: When we arrived, we had a family on one side that had a lot of people including young children and they spilled into our area a bit. The chairs were set up in a way that some people were looking directly at us whether we were inside or out. We chose to eat inside with the curtains closed as we did not want to be continually stared at. Later we had gone off and when we came back, the young children had left stuff on our picnic table and the adults allowed the children to ride their bikes on the cement patios right outside the patio door. The kids would stop in front of our door and stare at us. I don’t blame the children as they were young but no one stopped that behaviour. I love that the motel is family friendly and there is lots of room for the kids to roam. But that does not mean right outside our door in our patio area. Not sure that management could have done anything about that. Noise: We did go out later as the family had left for a while, but the other neighbours were very loud outside and smoking on the patio as well. Smoking anything is supposed to be 3 meters away. The smell drove us back inside. They woke us up around 1am both with loud voices in the next room and there was yelling and screaming in the parking lot along with horn honking and a motorcycle reving for a good few minutes. As there is no staff after midnight, they couldn’t have dealt with the situation anyway. Thankfully, we were leaving the next day otherwise we would h

Die Lage des Hotels, nicht wahr! Der Parksville Beach ist nahe am Fuße! Die Tür hinter dem Feriendorf ist der Strand. Die lange Holzstraße ist entlang des Strandes bis zu einem weiten Ort ausgestreckt. Mit der Sonne am Morgen, ein Paar Liebe machte einen Spaziergang, die älteren Leute schwingen, sitzen auf einem Rollstuhl, genießen die frische Luft am Meer, eine schöne Sonne am Abend... Das Restaurant im Feriendorf ist ein schönes Essen und ein sehr elegantes, Außen- und Außenrestaurant, das am Hinterhof gebündelt wurde, ist einzigartig! Wenn nicht genug gesagt wird, kann das Feriendorf lange gebaut werden, einige alte Einrichtungen, insbesondere Elektr., Tower Building ist ein Elektr., der Menschen mit Laden gemischt. Jedes Mal wartet lange und die Bemühungen sind zu laufen...mit dem inländischen Samsung Hotel Feriendorf, kann nicht vergleichbar sein... Aber es ist nicht schlimm! Our group of nine, four adults and five teenagers spent seven days at this resort. We had two separate units and we had the units with three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is actually its own studio suite which was kind of nice because it does have its own fridge and a little AC unit and it’s own separate bathroom so it was really, great actually We were in the 200 building facing the pool. If you’re not a lover of family resorts or kids this may not be the place for you or at least don’t face the pool lol. There are a number of different types of accommodations here and there are also some townhouses which I think are two bedroom suites which looked very nice. There’s also some villas, but they book up a year in advance And they overlook the ocean which is beautiful. We were on the third floor of the 200 building and we could see a little bit of the ocean from our balcony. The nice thing about our room was that it did face the pool, but it was really quite private because there was trees in front and when you’re sitting on the patio , you had a lot of privacy. The balcony had an overhang as well, which was nice. There’s also a gas barbeque on the balcony which we used a few times The AC units are the ones that vent outside and they’re decent enough. (Not central air like the townhomes had). The pool is open until 11 o’clock every night. The teenagers had complaints about the hot tub that it wasn’t hot enough, but overall the pool was fine. My couple complaints are just observations about the places that you may not want to have somebody above you if you’re in the Buildings where the condo/Apartment style units are. As I said we were on the third floor and this building is four floors and you could hear a lot of the people above you stomping around. Not a dealbreaker I mean we were fine with it, but they had little kids and they were ripping around quite a bit so it was kind of annoying when they would start at 6 AM. anyway it wasn’t that bad Just an observation. The property, at least in the apartment style condo units don’t get cleaned for the time that you’re here so you have to constantly ask for things when you run out such as toilet paper, sugar, those kinds of things. Parking could be a struggle from time to time because the place fills up a lot every night, especially on the weekends, but it was never a huge deal for our group. Overall experience here though was very good and we would return.

Das war mein erstes Aufenthalt hier und ich war sehr beeindruckt. Ich werde sicher in Zukunft wieder zum Bayside Resort kommen. Das Personal von dem Moment, an dem ich in die Tür ging, war erstaunlich. Sie waren super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit und sehr informativ für alle meine Fragen und Bedürfnisse. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Ich kam für ein entspannendes Wochenende und hatte nur das. Das Restaurant und das Loungepersonal waren so nett und auf dem Ball. Es war sehr besessen da, aber sie haben nie einen Schlag übergelaufen und machten mich immer fühlen, als wäre ich die einzige im Zimmer. Ich war mit diesem sehr beeindruckt. Es war enttäuschend, dass es keine Warmwasserräder gab, da es sich um Reparaturen handelte, hey, diese Dinge passieren, aber der Pool war großartig und der Trainingsraum/Gym war auch sehr beeindruckend. Die Lage dieses Resorts ist erstaunlich, ehrlich gesagt kann nicht viel besser. Spektakuläre Aussichten auf dem Strand vor einem der beliebtesten Strände in dieser Region. Was für einen schönen Ort!! Ich fühle mich, als könnte ich weitergehen, alles, was ich hatte eine tolle Erfahrung im Bayside Resort und ich werde sicher bald wieder sein!!
