Das beste Hotel in Johannesburg. Sicheres Gebiet, großes Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe. Polizeipersonal, angenehme Gäste. Einchecken war schnell, Renovierungen sind hervorragend. Ich hatte hier eine wunderbare Zeit, zu schlecht Ich habe nur zwei Nächte geblieben. Einer Nebenwirkung: Es gab Probleme mit Zahlung. Ich hatte bereits für das Hotel auf Trip.com gezahlt, aber die Empfangsbestätigung sagte, die Zahlung sei noch nicht verarbeitet. Ich musste den Empfang an den Hotelbedienten mailn. Nur am nächsten Tag haben sie mir gesagt, dass es keine Probleme gab und das Hotel bezahlt wurde.

Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm. The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens. Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The hotel is in a good location, but the room was quite small for the price. Service was also disappointing, you can wait endlessly for staff to attend to you. They often promise to come back, but they never do.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪 Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

The location is spectacular. The rooms are good value for money. I liked my stay a lot. The only thing is if you’re booked into a room further away, you must know that if it is raining you have to walk outside and to the entrance to fetch your food orders or get your uber — only downside.

Southern Sun Hyde Park Sandton I had a wonderful stay at Southern Sun Hyde Park Sandton. From the moment you arrive, the reception staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, setting a relaxed tone for the stay. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. One of the highlights is ascending in the glass elevator to the third-floor rooftop bar. As the doors open, you’re greeted with beautiful views across the surrounding landscape — a lovely moment that makes the space feel special. At the weekend the rooftop really comes alive. The sun deck has a great atmosphere with a DJ playing excellent music, creating relaxed but lively vibes around the pool while you take in the views across Hyde Park and Sandton. Breakfast is another standout — a generous buffet with a large selection to suit different tastes, all well presented and fresh. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great views, good energy on the rooftop, and welcoming service. I would happily return.

Ich habe schon mal im Quatermain geblieben, und ich bin froh, dass die ganze Erfahrung wieder nur schön war! Ich war sehr früh am check-in-Tag angekommen und das Personal stellte sich sicher, dass ich ein Zimmer hatte, bevor die geplante check-in-Zeit gegeben war, und sie haben mich auch aufgebaut! Das Personal des Hotels ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und alles ist nur eine Freude!! Auch mit den laufenden Herausforderungen, die Ladezufuhr (geplante Stromausfälle) führt zum reibungslosen Betrieb eines jeden Geschäfts. Die Gärten sind unschön und ruhig, und es ist unglaublich zu glauben, dass Sie in der Mitte von allem mit dem Frieden und der Ruhe, die pervadiert sind. Das kleine Bistro / Restaurant-Menü ist dankbar begrenzt, da es bedeutet, dass die Qualität sichergestellt werden kann und alles, was geschmackvoll zu Hause gemacht wird. Das Abendbuffet ist sehr gut für Geld! Nur ein kleiner Hinweis, dass aufgrund von Ladeverteilung, manchmal das E-Mail/Buchungssystem einige Probleme gibt - also vergessen Sie nicht, nur nach einem Buchung :)

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und geräumig und wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Nacht und die Rezeption hat uns mit Respekt und Hilfe gut behandelt.
