GGastnutzerWe came for a funeral we were under a lot of stress. The staff was wonderful helpful and accommodating! I have to say with the exception of the lady that checked me out. She was short and I felt as though I was bothering her. She will not cloud my opinion of this fine inn!! I will stay again when I visit the family in North Carolina.

MMaxwell1492I drove over 400 miles on I-81 and was completely exhausted, so I decided to stop near Charlotte. The name of the hotel sounded nice — I thought “Norman Lake” might be a fancy resort.
Crossing from Virginia into North Carolina, the drive was beautiful. The road wound through the mountains with lakes popping up here and there — such a big change from the flat East Coast.
The hotel itself was just okay. The facilities were average, the AC was pretty noisy, and the mattress was way too soft for me. Breakfast didn’t leave much of an impression, except for the endless coffee.
Overall, it was a decent place for a quick stay.

HheyjessGood hotel for Statesville, good service at the front desk and food area. The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. Was quite dusty and a little dirty in some areas.

GGastnutzerRoom was nice and spacious. Loved the bathroom space and toiletries. Breakfast was top notch, only thing I would have changed is how much squeeky noise the AC made while I was trying to rest that night. The pool was clean, we enjoyed our stay and will returning the future.
