Beste Hotels mit Parkplatz in Dunedin

It's interesting how some people love it and others not so much.... we thouroghly enjoyed our stay at the Fenway. Our room was perfect, cocktails on the rooftop watching the sunset was great, one can also order food on the rooftop bar. We had breakfast in the restaurant and were both quite satisfied with service and quality. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and accomodating. The only negatives I would share: for only an 80 room hotel, there are a lot of hallways, going every which way, one needs to pay attention where your room is located and there is only one elevator so at times there is a wait to go up or down. The building has only been a hotel for about 5 years and has a very interesting past. We inquired at the front desk about the history and were given a printout about the background of the building. Everything added up to a nice couple of days. Would stay there again if in Dunedin.

My husband and I spent an absolutely wonderful three day weekend at the Meranova Inn a few days ago. It was to celebrate his 80th birthday. We stayed in the KeyWest Room and found it met all our needs and more. The king size bed was superbly comfortable with ample pillows, we had a full kitchen with snacks and Keurig machine with coffee pods and tea and sugars and creamers all there, and the bathroom was spotless with toiletries and fluffy towels and two comfy cotton bathrobes at our disposal. Two TVs--one in the bedroom and one in the living room-- had good reception. The pool was right outside our door. The town is lovely, and has a designated bike trail right through the middle of town, so one could ride a bike safely out of traffic's way. Each room as its own unique character, so check out the website and see the rooms before you decide in which one you want to stay. We had breakfast right next door at the Wild Iris restaurant--so convenient. We also had dinner at AlFresco and found the meals and service very good. That, too, was within walking distance. We are Floridians, yet, this mini-getaway to Dunedin was a great way to celebrate, and we are pleased we did. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Die Lage dieses Hotels ist phänomenal. Es war sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war auch groß, obwohl wir einen oberen Zimmer hatten, konnten wir außerhalb unserer Vordertür sitzen und die Aussicht beobachten. Das Frühstück war superb ...a fantastisches Angebot von vielen Optionen von warmen oder kalten Lebensmitteln. Alles aus frisch gemachten Waffeln, REAL Oatmeal mit allen Topfs, Käse Omelette, geschrotet Eier, Toast, Dänen, Bagels, Getreide, Obst, Joghurt und eine Kaffee- und Saftbar. Meine einzigen zwei Beschwerden waren, dass das Bett für mich nicht sehr komfortabel war. Es war zu fest. Es könnte großartig für jemand anderes sein, aber die Festigkeit hielt mich wieder auf, das ist nur mich, weil ich lieber ein weicheres Bett. Das andere nicht so großartige Ding war, dass die Dusche entweder warmes Wasser auswählen oder nur kaltes Wasser ...nichts zwischen. Ich denke, der Warmwasser-Absperrger könnte Wartung benötigen. Die Getränke an der Wasserfront-Bar waren auch lecker. Wir waren in Zimmer 223 am 24. September, falls die Management möchte es sehen. Andererseits war alles großartig ....wir werden sicherlich hier wieder bleiben.

Grant St Inn in itself is relatively new and it was an emergency stay for us when we had to evacuate from Clearwater Beach to inland due to Hurricane Helene making landfall on the night of 26 Sep 2024. The room we had was right next to the reception and lobby, so it was quite noisy and from the door leading to the balcony, there was also loud machines (of some sort) that run 24x7. However, given the dire situation we were in, we were grateful to have shelter from the big storm. The inn does not have a generator to support electricity outage, so we spent the night there amidst the big storm without electricity, AC and running water. (the tap water was quite murky for any shower) Emergency aside, what was most disconcerting (more like scary) for us was that post 26 Sep 2024, my partner's credit was declined everywhere he tried to use. Luckily we were able to rely on my credit card to get us through the travel. Once we got back to our home base, we contacted our bank to find out why my partner's credit card was declined from 27 Sep 2024 onward; we were told that aside the valid room charge of $250 USD on 26 Sep which shows up on our bank account, there were 3 unauthorized charge attempts from Grant St Inn on 27 Sep (of different amounts ($450, then $50, then again $50) which our bank deemed suspect, declined and subsequently this trigger a full block on my partner's credit card as fraud preventative measures. My partner had to cancel his credit card to prevent any future attempts of fraudulent charge from Grant St Inn. Additionally, on the morning of 27 Sep when we checked out of the inn, I was promised that an invoice would be sent to my email address once the electricity was back up; no invoice was sent to my email! I contacted Grant St Inn via their webpage Contact requesting for such invoice and received an email response from Jason Wagoner that there was no record of my stay on 26 Sep 2024. (yet, a charge of $250 USD showed up on my account!). I also notified via email Jason Wagoner of the 3 unauthorized charges from Grant St Inn which had been blocked by my bank, but to date I still have not heard back from Jason or anyone (from management) of Grant St Inn; and perhaps, i will never hear back from Grant St Inn. It takes me time and effort to write this review, as a word of warning to any future traveler who might consider staying this Inn. Beware of the fraudulent charges that might occur on your credit card!
