SSamujjalAlthough I mistakenly booked the stay for the same day while making the reservation in the evening — meaning the check-in time had already passed by about four hours and I am quite far away in PAI (leaving next day to Mae RIM). Since it was a non-refundable, no-show booking, I initially thought I had lost it.
However, Paul, the reception manager, reached out by email to ask what time I would be arriving. I explained my mistake, letting him know I had meant to book for the following day. To my surprise and gratitude, they kindly adjusted my reservation at no extra charge.
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with tranquil natural sounds. The cleanliness was outstanding.
The huts are very nice. The toilet and shower were stylish, modern, and spotless. I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was of excellent quality.

We had a great stay here at SkyView Monjam! The house had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, albeit certain obscure corners could be cleaned up better. The staff were excellent and took great care of us, providing us with good food and catering to our requests as much as possible. Would definitely come back again for a relaxing retreat!
Cleanliness:
Overall very clean, though certain areas that are more difficult to reach in general could see certain signs of nature. But those areas are not visible unless you purposely look into it, which won't affect your stay overall. Staff will ask if the house needs to be cleaned daily, then changes the bedsheets and covers if yes. So rest assured that the sheets are clean and fresh.
Location:
Not the most accessible, but that should be expected when you are booking this place since it is up in the mountain area. Driving takes at least 1 hour with confident driving skills on windy mountainous roads. The last 200m or so to the house is bumpy off-road tracks. Transportation to and fro can be requested to the staff and booked at least 1 day in advance for a fixed fee. Do not bother trying to get Grab/Bolt rides as the final fare will end up much higher due to rural location and road condition. In fact, why bother going out when you can relax in nature 😃
Service:
Simply put, it was equivalent to a 5-star resort. The staff were very accommodating to our requests and timings, even waiting for us near past their working hours and our requested time to help prepare our dinner! Be rest assured that you will be well taken care of during the stay!
Amenities:
The MVP was the speaker provided, it stayed with us throughout our whole stay. Wifi was strong and readily available despite being in a less urban area. Shower water is fixed at a temperature as the hot water is boiled using gas, so any adjustments will require assistance from the staff to physically change the gas intake of the boiler. The air-conditioning is not the strongest at cooling the entire house, so a standing fan is provided to help circulate the cool air around. Other than utensils which can be requested from the staff, cooking appliances and tools are readily available.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die liebevoll gestaltete Terrasse.
Da sich das Hotel in den Bergen befindet, kann es jedoch vorkommen, dass man von Insekten belästigt wird. Mit ein paar einfachen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen lässt sich dies aber problemlos vermeiden. Der Wasserdruck ist etwas schwach, aber das Warmwasser funktioniert einwandfrei. Das WLAN ist nicht besonders schnell, der Mobilfunkempfang hingegen stark. Aufgrund der Lage kann das Hotel nicht mit dem Komfort eines Stadthotels mithalten, bietet aber ausreichend Platz für einen entspannten Aufenthalt auf 1.200 Metern Höhe.
Vor allem der aufmerksame und freundliche Service des Personals während meines Aufenthalts hat mich sehr beeindruckt.

This resort is surrounding the lush green ladder rice padding field with a picturesque pond decorated with lotus flowers. You can enjoy on your private terrace the surrounding tranquility and the harmonious garden symphony from birds, roosters, frogs and the scents from blooming flowers. This is definitely a place worth resting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition, the service team gave unfailing support to anything you need. Restaurant Kwau gave us memorable tastes of Thai foods. With the help of Khun Kuan, we enjoyed pleasant dining experiences and tasted delicious foods from different areas of Thailand. The Spa is also commendable! Their massage skill is unparalleled in downtown Chiang Mai. Joining Buffalo washing like a farmer is an unforgettable experience for people grow up in city!

CChutimaVery cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

Wir sind eine fünfköpfige Familie mit Kindern im Alter von 18, 13 und 10 Jahren. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Wir kamen gegen 21 Uhr direkt vom Flughafen. Die Taxifahrt kostete ca. 1500 Baht und dauerte etwa eine Stunde. Als wir Mon View Ngarm erreichten, herrschten angenehme 13 Grad!
Wir wohnten im Familienzimmer (ein kleiner Fußmarsch vom Check-in-Schalter). Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und das Personal begleitete uns zu unserem Zimmer.
Das Zimmer war unglaublich sauber (keine Insekten, nicht einmal Mücken!) und die Aussicht am Morgen war einfach atemberaubend!
Das Halal-Frühstück war an den beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthalts einfach. Es gab eine kleine Ecke speziell dafür, und viele andere muslimische Reisende waren ebenfalls dort.
Wenn ihr (wie ich) mit 5 Personen in der Gegend unterwegs seid, empfehle ich euch, für den ganzen Tag einen privaten Fahrer zu mieten (das Hotel kann das für euch organisieren). Meiner hat etwa 1500 Baht gekostet.
Ich empfehle euch außerdem, im Hotelrestaurant beim Frühstück Hotpot zu essen. Es ist einfach, aber bei dem Wetter absolut empfehlenswert! Da nicht alle Angestellten Englisch sprechen, musste ich manchmal Google Translate benutzen. Insgesamt war ich von diesem Ort total begeistert! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, um noch mehr zu entdecken. Vergesst nicht, warme Kleidung mitzubringen! Ab dem späten Nachmittag kühlt es deutlich ab.

ชชั้นชื่อผักกาดEin paar Tage vor Neujahr gebucht. Wird immer noch als Glücksfall betrachtet Habe ein günstiges Zimmer bekommen. Das Frühstück ist fertig. Komplette Ausstattung Geräumiger Bereich Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut. Aber der Eingang ist tief und es gibt viele Steine. je nach Resortstil Geeignet zum Fahren von Autos mehr als von Motorrädern.
Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl. Für uns war alles köstlich.
