Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht super, nur der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten bereits einen Fahrer bestellt, der ein Zustellbett bringen sollte, aber das klappte einfach nicht. Die Reinigungskräfte waren unglaublich ineffizient; sie konnten das Problem mit dem Zustellbett nicht innerhalb von zwei Stunden lösen. Für zwei Personen ist das Hotel in Ordnung, aber wenn Sie ein Zustellbett benötigen, seien Sie gewarnt – es ist umständlich und das Bett ist sehr unbequem.

This hotel/apartment is in a great location. The hotel is right across the street in case you need anything, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite small. Perhaps I'm simply not used to such small accommodations as an American who has only traveled within North America. The bathroom had no counter space, which was a bit different for me, and the shower was quite small. There was also no bathtub. The bed was comfortable. There was quite a bit of noise from people on the street, so I'm glad I brought earplugs. I was also happy to have an eye mask because a fair amount of light came through the windows at night. I wasn't able to get one of the four parking spots because they were always occupied, but there was plenty of street parking. I often didn't have to pay because I usually returned around 10:00 p.m. and left by 8:00 a.m. each morning. Overall, I would stay here again. It was a comfortable place to stay in a convenient location.

Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt an der Bushaltestelle 13, was sie ideal für Tages- und Mehrtagesausflüge macht; das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich, mit einem Fitnessraum sowie Innen- und Außen-Thermalbädern zur Entspannung; das Frühstück ist ordentlich; gegenüber befindet sich ein authentisches isländisches Restaurant (siehe Bild).

Service provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor. We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left. Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.

Der Standort ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln leicht zu erreichen. Es handelt sich um ein Selbstbedienungshotel, Gäste müssen sich also unbedingt melden, wenn sie keine Anweisungen zum Einchecken erhalten haben. Es gibt Personal im Hotel und auf Abruf, das sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist, wenn Routineprobleme auftreten. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstücksbuffet ist bemerkenswert!!!

Right next the airport and the drop off locations for car rental - literally a 5 minute walk. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. We were taking an early flight so booked this hotel for the convenience. Breakfast is available from 4am for those taking early flights.

Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, große Gemeinschaftsbereiche mit Restaurant und Bar, Co-Working-Sitzplätzen, Gemeinschaftsküche und zahlreichen Badezimmern auf dem Flur. Geräumige Mehrbettzimmer mit bequemen Betten, Vorhängen, Schließfächern und Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Very friendly reception, good variety of food in breakfast. What I enjoy most is the room, good view and size especially when you travel long distances and have a complementary parking spot right in front of the hotel. Strongly recommend.

A good little hostel with the front staff being very friendly. This hostel is not at BSI bus station which is where fly bus airport transfers arrive and depart. It is a 15 minute walk from BSI bus station, but there are many tour buses that stop here. The kitchen and bathrooms were always very clean and you could see someone always mopping or cleaning. The room was very hot so pack light Pyjamas. Also there are no women only dorms!!! I thought I was booking a women only dormitory but men were in there too. One man had booked a man only dorm but obviously they don't have this either. The website and the trip.com descriptions clearly need udpating.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, es gibt Parkplätze und man kann auch abends bequem zur Kirche laufen. Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, aber für den Check-in an der Rezeption ist eine Kreditkarte erforderlich, was etwas inakzeptabel ist. Außerdem ist das Badezimmer klein und es ist schwierig, den Koffer auszuklappen. Beim Duschen im Badezimmer fließt das Wasser nach draußen, was sich recht einfach anfühlt. Die Unterkunftsbedingungen in Island sind in der Tat durchschnittlich.
