Находится в глубине застройки, до пляжа топать минут 15. Но в отеле есть автомобиль, который вас туда (на пляж) отвезет.
Прям рядом можно взять мопед, и вы - свободны как ветер.
В целом, конечно, это оазис прохлады и спокойствия в жарком и грязном Гоа.
В номерах все отлично, нет халатов. но это дело такое, не самое важное.
Бассейн в целом ок, есть бар с ценами x2, но терпимо.
Завтраки очень хороши: есть выбор по меню, + линия индийских блюд. Также в наличии хороший кофе, фрукты, выпечка, вафли, панкейки. Каждый найдет себе что-то свое.
Тренажерочка - скромная, но найти чем себя развлечь можно: 2 дорожки, эллипс (вроде), свободные веса, пару тренажеров.
Вайфай неплохой, тянет шустро.
Мы жили за 5,5к/ночь - цена вообще сказочная для этого отеля.
Вернусь ли еще в Астор - думаю да. Если выбирать между ним, Рэдиссоном и Хаятом (на минималках) - однозначно Астор.

GGastnutzer1. I booked hotel with citi view but balcony was provided on back side and that was not giving view of swimming pool also. There was no room in hotel with citi view balcony. 2. Room cleaning was week compared to other hotels of same standard. 3. As i have to go early for dudhsagar fall, they arranged snacks early in the morning on my request. But they charged for coffee ordered in room. As i told them that it should be covered under my breakfast, it should not be charged. But they informed that as yhey have generated bill, they cannot reverse. But gave 20% discount. This bill can be fully waived. Hotel is not up to the standard of money spent.

Sie kontaktierten mich einen Tag vor der Frage, wann ich anmelden würde. Ich kam etwas später als die genannte Zeit und musste noch warten 15-20 Minuten, um das Zimmer bereit zu sein. Check-out war auch langsam.
Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber alt und brauchen Verbesserung.
Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte mittels Mittelalternativen.
Die Mitarbeiter legen sich kaum an dir an.

We were shown to our room and things explained.
The balcony was small but ample.
The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue.
The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter.
The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby.
The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way.
The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though.
The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice.
The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning.
Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble.
We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection.
If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss.
Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in.
All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

NNataliiaSehr freundliches Personal des ganzen Hotels, ein charmantes grünes sauberes Gebiet, ein sauberer Pool, ein gutes Frühstück (viele indische Küche, aber auch europäische Gewohnheiten sind auch verfügbar) , jeden Tag ohne Erinnerungen zu reinigen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig mit 2 Klimaanlagen und einem riesigen Spur, großem Wi-Fi, leider nur 5 Tage von 18 in Goa, weil es für die ganze Zeit keine Platze gab. Eine beschleunigte Schritt zum Meer ist 10 Minuten. In der Nähe der zentralen Straße alle Freizeitinfrastruktur - Cafés, Geschäfte, Obst-Shops. Wir werden froh sein, wieder zurückzukehren! Danke für die Atmosphäre der Gastfreundschaft und freundlichkeit!

During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
