Hôtel Eugénie

I have never stayed at a hotel that wasn't a chain, so I was a little nervous (travelling from Canada and also first time in Paris), but this hotel was so cute! It was a little hard to find at first, but you just need to look up and find the sign. We were allowed to check in early, which was so helpful as we had arrived around 11am and wanted to shower and store our bags before exploring. This location is also amazing! We got right off the underground and it was maybe 2 mins away (with struggling to situate ourselves, lol). Very walkable to many sights, and if not the subway is right there. We heard that this was the party district, but our room was very quiet and cozy. A few streets away were many restaurants offering multi course meals at a set price which was a bonus. The room was somewhat tiny, but still manageable for the two of us and our two bags each. The reception was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Lovely small hotel in heart of Paris. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was beside a lift but didn’t hear it at all due to being able to close a door between stairwell and room. Breakfast was good even though not a lot of choice. Selection of pastries, bread rolls, ham, eggs and cheese. Orange juice only. Cereal limited to corn flakes and muesli. Room was cosy and bed was comfortable. Son didn’t like sleeping under window so had to move him to other end of bed at night but slept well.

Located in the Latin Quarter, this is a small but charming little hotel right there in the middle of all the action. It is very close to the Metro and a short walk to Notre Dame. The hotel lobby was being painted when we arrived so everything was in a bit of disarray. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. The room was small, a bit noisy due to the location of our particular room (first floor) and the elevator just about fits 1 person at a time. Still, it was good for the 2 nights we were there. The breakfast is good!!

Brilliant boutique hotel. Fantastic area great for exploring. Close to Metro, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Couple of good pubs, cafes on same street. Would recommend especially if your first time in Paris

I teach law at the University of Mannheim, Germany, and I have experienced many, many hotels during my travels all over the world. For many reasons I have never published a comment on any of these hotels. Therefore, this is the first comment ever, because this hotel Eugénie in Paris is so wonderful and absolutely phantastic in all respects. The reasons for my enthusiasm are as follows. 1. I spent two weeks here and the hotel made my stay a brilliant time, which I will always remember. You need not book by an Agency. It is very easy to address the hotel directly by phone or by E-Mail. The hotel answers instantly in French, English or Spanish and all details of your stay will be perfectly guaranteed and carried out as planned. You can pay on arrival and you can also cancel your stay on short notice. But you have to book your stay some time in advance, because the hotel is always fully booked and that speaks for itself. 2. The hotel Eugénie is situated in the middle of quartier Latin. In such a noisy district of Paris you expect the hotel to be noisy as well. Big surprise: This is not the case at all. The hotel is an oasis of tranquility and the rooms to the backside of the Hotel are extremely quiet. You will not hear anything. The Rooms are modern and in excellent shape with bathroom, separate restroom and many sockets for your digital and other devices. You really feel great. 3. The hotel is a family enterprise. The owner is personally present every day and all the time ready to serve you. He is a great person and so is his personnel in the hotel. They have all served here for a very long time. They are extremely helpful in all respects. They are very, very friendly and fulfill every wish the guest might come up with. The whole service-team is simply the best. 4. In a French hotel, breakfast by German standards often leaves quite a few things to be desired. But this is not the case here. All you want is right there. Just enjoy. 5. In all: You will spend a marvelous time in this hotel Eugénie. You will have a brilliant stay and enjoy a phantastic visit with all desires brilliantly fulfilled. It will be simply the best life you can have in Paris and a time you will never forget your whole life.

The Hotel Eugenie's greatest selling point is it's location. It is walking distance to Saint Chapelle, Notre Dame, Hotel D'Ville, and other important sites in Paris. Right next to the hotel are small restaurants with very good food for reasonable prices. During this visit, the restaurant next to the hotel had a fixed meal with French onion soup, beef borguignion and warm chocolate cake, all for under 20 euro! Our hotel room was clean but it was nothing special. It's the location of Hotel Eugenie that can't be beat. I should add that I've stayed there several other times in the past, and sometimes just by myself, but I felt safe. In addition, staff are helpful and nice. I recommend Hotel Eugenie.
