Hotel B Square

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely, quaint hotel. The staff were great. They helped me tremendously with getting around during my stay for the Jeux Olympiques. The hotel was very clean during my 7 day stay, 31st of July until 7th of August 2024. It is located in an area that offers access to 2 metro lines within a 5-8 minutes walk. Metro 2 (Rome stop) & Metro 13. I was even told the Metro 14 was about 15 minutes from hotel. I felt safe in the area as I was traveling alone and after the Olympic events and the tours I did I would arrive to the hotel between 9:00pm & as late at 11:35pm one evening. I traveled from the U.S.A but took French classes to help me try to communicate in the native tongue; which I was told, was appreciated. Buses are available as well. I did not travel by bus however. The continental breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. I did breakfast there daily since it was available to me while being a savings for me as well. Directly across from the hotel is a café also. In addition you have access to an Italian eatery & Chinese food and Augustin which has awesome food along with bakeries and other shops. There were several pharmacies in the area as well. There are pharmacies in the area, a post office, within walking distance, and a government office facility were one can get their passports & driver's license. Not sure if it available to non French citizens; but I walked past it several times. I highly recommend Hotel B Square. I want to thank All the wonderful staff members that lent assistance to me during my stay there. You made me feel at home. I hope to return again soon.

We had a brilliant stay in this hotel. I can’t believe some reviewers are saying it’s so far out of the centre when you can just look it up on the map! Yes it’s in the 17th district which in itself is a beautiful part of Paris, and you can walk within an hour to the Louvre or up to sacre cour. it’s very close to the Metro. Lovely clean hotel which has recently been upgraded and the staff were so friendly. We really appreciate appreciated the free shower gel as we were hand luggage only. The hotel itself is surrounded by fabulous bars and restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, we had a fabulous holiday in this beautiful city and I really recommend this hotel.

Hotel B Square is the kind of place you somehow struggle to write a review on. It is one of dozens similar hotels in Paris. Probably a former residential building turned into a hotel it shows all positive and negative features of many Paris hotels, designed to accommodate tourists who will just stay and forget. On the positive side location in the Batignolles area of the 17th district is very good. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighboring Rue des Dames. Close to bus stops and the Rome metro station. 20 minutes away from Champs Elysées. Rooms are clean and quiet but decoration efforts have been non-existent. Everything is basic. No amenity (e.g. coffee machine, bottle of water, ...) that would give a plus to the hotel. On the negative side rooms are - even by Paris standards - very small. 10 to 12 square meters maximum. Our room (number 201) was looking over a bleak and decrepit internal patio. No street view. Service is limited to the minimum: only front desk employees with limited hotel service skills (hiring hotel professionals is very difficult in France). Breakfast is served in a blind room in the underground where tables are very close to each other. Fortunately early on an end of September Sunday morning there were not many people at breakfast. Although breakfast room illumination is OK this is quite a depressing setting to start the day. I neither recommend nor discourage the stay at B Square Hotel. It is a really unremarkable hotel. You can probably find other similar places in Paris with nicer features but maybe a bit more expensive. I selected B Square Hotel based on location and price (155 € which may look terribly expensive for what I described but which is reasonable for Paris). I rated the hotel average with a neutral opinion.
