Motel 6 Paris, TX

Comfortable room, clean, helpful desk agent, value good for type of hotel, and generally a decent place. Mattress was stiff, walls are thin, and door key did not work very well. Might stay here again if passing through this way.

I didn't like that the room next to mine was very noisy until late at night. Staff was friendly and courteous. The room was very clean.

The room was clean enough in appearance on arrival. We checked in, then went out for the evening. Upon arriving back at the room when first walked back in, there were roaches in the room. That wont do, we returned our key and did not stay. We checked out before 11:30 pm the same day we checked in. Also, there was no parking available by our room.

Room was large, clean and decently decorated. The staff could have been more friendly, but at least they weren't rude. The bath tub needs to have some slip resistant protection, as it was so slippery that I actually fell getting in. Overall, very pleasant experience.

The place needs more TLC. We had stayed here in past and this time noticed things are going downhill.

The first time we stayed it was okay we stayed again and there was a hole in the bathroom light and when the people above us took a shower it leaked this was the worst room I've ever had from them

I cannot say enough bad about this place. First, when I checked in their office, it has a smell that is just nasty. Almost made me hurl. Room is supposed to be “new” but it’s still nasty. Before checking out, I found a bed bug on my shirt. While cleaning one day, the man there said it smelled in the room. Ya it smelled because we were near their nasty smelling office because it was the same stench their office had. We are moving out of state and we were taking our 2 pets in as per their policy and they were crated as soon as they got in the room. The employee that said the room stunk stated that the smell was because of them but they were not in the room prior to that. So tonight, they get to stay in our old empty house until we leave the state tomorrow to move. Their pet policy is specifically stated on the website but they don’t want to listen to their own rules. So in closing, it’s a nasty motel with an extremely rude staff that doesn’t follow their own rules. And with the rates they are charging, go down the road to Laquinta or Holiday Inn Express and spend a few more dollars for a clean room and a good breakfast. You’ll regret staying here! P.S.
