Pousada Pontal Gardens

We could not recommend this wonderful Pousada more! The staff are so friendly, fun and helpful. The location is perfect, a short walk to the historic district, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and absolutely charming. We will be going back the next time we are in Paraty for sure. Obrigado muito to Marcus and Bea.

We were in Paraty for a weekend. Gorgeous inn, beautiful room and public areas. Lovely atmosphere with the superb host Marco who payed the utmost attention to every detail. Breakfast was fantastic !! The inn is in walking distance from everything, felt very safe with the locked gate. Recommend this place very very much!

The hosts and their staff are absolutely wonderful! Always attentive, kind, and available to assist us with any request. The breakfast is delicious and prepared with much care. There are delightful surprise treats and tasty drinks. All areas of the inn are charming and very cosy. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the historic center, yet quiet enough to offer a peaceful retreat.

Great location, amazing host, lovely rooms. Locates right outside the old town and next to Pontal beach you can find this lovely pousada. It is easy to see that every single single detail has been thought of. What a lovely place, not to be missed. Our compliments to our host, obrigado!!!

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and arrange anything you need. Amazing breakfast with little monkeys in the trees and a great location too, 1 minute from the beach. Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend

We stayed at Pousada Pontal Gardens for two nights and had a fantastic stay. From before we arrived Geancarlo and Ricardo were so helpful with recommendations and travel logistics. Despite the short amount of time we had to stay in Paraty they helped us make the most of it by recommending tours, restaurants and sorting transfers. The pousada is beautiful and the rooms are so nicely decorated and very clean. The location is also great, right near the beach and the old town and a short walk to the historic fort. Our favourite part was the breakfast, which was amazing - Ricardo explained where the produce was from and some items were even made by the pousada themselves. We also got to feed one of the monkeys that climb in the trees around the pousada. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I only wish we could have had more time to enjoy it!
