Surprised at how good our stay was. Sometimes trip advisor 5 star recommended hotels are good for the price -we’ve seen courtyard and Hampton inns that are 5 stars. This was a very good hotel at any price point. We had a clean modern beautiful room with garden patio. We ate at both restaurants and both we great. The bar was hopping, the golf course full, pools had cabanas and loads of seating. The fitness center offers multiple free classes each day. The hotel is super dog friendly- my dog got a doggie bed, bowls, treats and poop bags as a welcome amenity. The reception staff and valets were efficient and courteous. The hotel’s guests were nicely dressed and respectful. Loved it, sorry to leave.

Am Donnerstag angelandet und geprüft, geprüft Sonntag. Nachdem ich in voller Konferenzmodus war, erwachte ich am Sonntag in einem Bett super rötlich. Mein erstes Gedanke war: Die Moskitos müssen mich gestern Abend genossen haben, seit ich nach Stunden der Ausstellung im Hotel gelaufen war. Seit ich an diesem Tag auscheckte, habe ich mich aufpackt und dachte nichts davon. Montag erwachte ich zu Hause mit einer Spur von Bitten über meinen Rücken, Magen, Brust, Hals und Haar. Ich sah, was das sein könnte und alle Zeichen weisen auf Bettbugs Bittchen. Als sie das Hotel kontaktierten, um sie zu informieren, sagten sie sofort: „Warum habe ich sie nicht erfahren, wenn ich noch am Boden war? Wir schicken jemanden raus, um das Zimmer zu inspizieren.“ Fast eine Woche später erhalte ich eine Aktualisierung. „Keine Bettfehler im Zimmer gefunden. ” Ich habe den Bericht und die Krickets gefragt, also meine Bewertung. Glück, hier zu bleiben und überprüfen Sie Ihre Betten!

Wir waren hier für ein Geschäftstreffen. Unser Zimmer war schön, sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Die Gärten sind gut gepflegt und der Bereich ist leicht zu Fuß. Das Zimmer hatte einen Kühlschrank, eine sichere und eine Mikrowelle. Das Bett war komfortabel und es gab einen schönen Lederstol und ottoman zu benutzen. Mein einziger Beschwerde wäre, dass es vor unserem Zimmer zu sitzen war, als wir ankamen (5:00 pm) und war noch dort bis zum Nachmittag am nächsten Tag. Jeden Tag gab es Zucker- und Creme-Pakete und Kaffeebecher auf den Boden an vielen Orten im gesamten Resort. Wir hatten ein paar Rezeptionen und das Personal konnte nicht mehr aufmerksam gewesen sein. Sie machten einen erstaunlichen Job, die Getränke und Essen serviert. Sie waren auch oben auf der Reinigung. Job gut gemacht. Wir hatten auch einen Vorbestell Mittagessen eines Tages. Das Essen schien nicht so gut ausgeführt zu sein. Es dauerte über 45 Minuten, um unsere Mahlzeiten zu servieren. Das Resort verfügt über einige Restaurants über die Straße, die zu Fuß geführt werden konnten. Die Mall und Old Town Scottsdale sind auch in der Nähe.

I recently stayed in one of the Villas and checked out on April 29. We were three friends traveling together, celebrating my birthday, I was very disappointed. The hotel was very understaffed. I had a few bad experiences with one employee, whose name was Christina. The first time, my friends and I ordered lunch at the pool bar. We were given a number that clipped onto the table. The number was not facing out directly, but on a slight angle. Christina came up to us with a plate of food, that was not ours, and in a nasty tone said, ”How can I see the number if it's not facing me”. After we finished lunch, my two friends went to the bar to settle the bill. They were standing there waiting to pay the bill and Christina was just ignoring them. Then my friend, Larisa, said something like “can I pay?” and Christina just kind of looked at her and rolled her eyes and said you should’ve said what you wanted. Then Larisa asked her why she had an attitude, and Christina got very defensive and said, ”I do not have an attitude, you have an attitude.” And Larisa reminded her of what happened at the table with the number and that you should never argue with customers, but she was still very defensive. And then after a while, just said she was sick. When we were at the pool, we noticed that all of the cabanas were unoccupied. We called the number that was on a chain and asked what the cost was. We were told by Margaret that it was $200.00. We offered $100, and Margaret said ”We would never accept that amount.” The next time we had a run in with Christina was while my friend and I were waiting at the Starbucks counter for at least 10 minutes. Christina walked past us several times and not once asked if we could be helped. I finally asked if we could place an order, and she responded in a very nasty tone, ”You have to wait in line.” We then stood in line and placed our order. I ordered a Grande Americano. She made a tall Americano. I told her the order was wrong, and she proceeded to argue with me ”That is what you ordered”. She changed the coffee to a Grande, and we sat at a high-top table to eat. While sitting at the table, we noticed that the food and beverage manager passed us, so we stopped him to tell him of our experience. Jeff told us that Christina was on our way out, and at her last review she was disciplined due to her attitude. I also mentioned to Jeff that we offered $100 for a cabana rental and Margaret said no. He told us he would buy a round of drinks at the pool bar and offered us a cabana on Sunday. When we went to speak to Jeff on Sunday to get a cabana, he first told us to take any one. Then he said ”No, they are sold, take number 4”. Well Jeff lied to us. No other cabana was occupied that day. Several employees did stand out though with exceptional service. The resort was beautiful. Several pools and activities spread throughout the resort. The food at the restaurant was very good. We stayed in a suite with several friends and it was breathtaking. The service was great and the location was perfect just minutes from OldTowne Scottsdale. I would recommend a trip to any group of friends, family, or couple to visit.

10/10- I loved everything about this hotel. Redone midcentury that has amazing staff, daily maid servie and a banger of a pool. The location was perfect for shopping, hiking and restuarants. Great touches such as fruit water in the lobby, replensihed water your room daily, in room coffee for those who need a coffee before venturing out. Did not end up eating but used my hotel credit on a couple of poolside drinks- they hit the spot. This is my go to for a mini trip to Phoenix.
