位置一流，出門口就是大型超級市場，海邊附近餐廳非常之多，唯一缺點沒有電梯，如果老人家住3樓比較辛苦！

Back here for a second visit,was with my husband,stayed in Harbour Suite,room 202,handy lift here,reception area of block was tastefully furnished and clean,one bed apartment was spacious,contained everything you might need for either self catering or as we did all inclusive,maid service was great,plenty clean linen and towel changes,well done Housekeeping you nailed it.pool and area cleaned every single morning,was a joy to relax at,reception staff,big shout out to Christalla,who goes above and beyond to help with your every need,from calling taxis to booking your late check out room,she’s always very welcoming and speaks perfect English,as do all the ladies who work there,they are indeed the face of this resort and represent the hotel very well.they are happy to impart local knowledge of Paphos and make suggestions to places of interest,great job ladies.And now to the stars of the show! The Bar and Restaurant staff,never enough words to express how great they are,professional,helpful and can’t do enough for you,Team Captain Yoti,Luciano,Andreas and Peter,a team indeed,looked after your every need,food was superb and beautifully presented,they were happy to explain the Greek dishes,always there when you had dirty dishes to be removed and your glass filled,this team are the reason we booked agin this year and they are the reason we will be back again next year 2024, the welcome we received by Luciano ( who remembered us from 2022) was wonderful and we were so touched by his welcome and called us by name was amazing,not too many kids here in October so pool area was quiet and relaxing,weather for October was great,high 78/79 every day,one day we had a massive thunderstorm through the night,that was spectacular but other than that,Yoti and team,see you next year guys and thank you Basilica for another great and relaxing holiday,David and Tricia Reid xx

Arrival: We arrived at 2pm on Wednesday 2nd August. We were staying for 14 nights on a self-catering basis. Immediately, you can tell the hotel is set over quite a large complex and you walk to reception down a pathway with the hotel restaurant to the left, reception to the right and the pool straight ahead. The reception is neutral and fairly modern and we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and offered a complementary drink. Our room wasn't ready so we were asked to wait and decided to get lunch in the restaurant. I hoped we would be offered the snack menu, but we were taken straight to the buffet and then charged €16 - a little on the steep side per person, but the food was great. Upon returning to reception, we were informed that our room we'd originally booked (and paid extra for) was unavailable: a superior one bedroom apartment. We were offered free use of the safe or a free upgrade to bed and breakfast for the inconvenience - clearly, the staff were trying to mitigate our disappointment and we appreciated this. Room: We were taken to our first room which was a normal studio. These rooms are dated, but clean and functional. We had a small balcony, small bathroom and then a bedroom area and a small kitchenette. As we had paid for an upgraded and significantly more modern room, we went back to reception and requested to be moved to our actual booking. We were informed that we could view an alternative room (a superior one bed apartment) the following day but that it wouldn't have a balcony. Whilst we were there, there appeared to be a lot of people who were in similar positions as the hotel seemed to be overbooked. Lots of people managed to get resolutions though and were happy; the staff clearly want to please and make people enjoy their stay. The next room we ended up in was 311 in the Artemis suites - the block over the road to the right of the supermarket. This room was exactly what we'd hoped for when booking, sans balcony. It was light, airy, modern and spacious. Our only gripe was that the floors never appeared to be swept - everything else was spotless though. Facilities: The hotel has a small gym which was in constant use by other guests. The pool is large and clean, but there are not enough sun loungers for the guests. We would suggest purchasing more and making use of the grassy areas behind the main pool and to the right of the children's pool - this would make for a much nicer experience. Most days that we were there, the sun loungers were all 'reserved' by 8:15am. Lots of families appeared after this and were disappointed not to find any left. The pool also had an abundance of rings, lilos and volleyballs that appeared to be communal - this was lovely! We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast and a few lunches, but the food was great. The breakfast was plentiful but very samey - the only variations seemed to be some different pastries every other day. We enjoyed the fresh omelette station and watermelon. For

were we the only people staying in Basilica Holiday Resort who witnessed the tight rope act being performed every by the rats, the went back and forth every night on the electricity wire, we had a free show every night from our balcony, needless to say we did not eat or drink in the resort during our stay.

Sorry I'm late writing this review. If your looking for a great friendly hotel in Kato Paphos then this is the hotel for you. Whether travelling as a couple, family or friends. Staff are really nice, friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food. Lovely pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to harbour, bars, restaurants and shops.

Really nice holiday resort. Fantastic location and staff extremely friendly and helpful. 2 bed appointment with pool view was very clean and tidy and house keeping visited everyday. Had a mix uo with our rooms on arrival and give 2 separate rooms but this was quickly sorted by reception in the morning and had a free lunch and drinks while we waited. Location is great and only a 2 minute walk to pubs restaurants and shops. Will definitely be returning again

Food amazing rooms very dated staff ok but most of Cyprus was dug up which was a bit disappointing as goingbout late a night was not good as paths were so uneven but other than that the location was very good

Money and Top stolen from room,then seen the cleaner walking through hotel with it on. Spoke to the manager who said we can’t prove it even though she admitted it and gave me the top back.Avoid hotel.

Just had a week here for my birthday and as always was most enjoyable. When we arrived we were upgraded to a two bedroomed pool view apartment which was clean and spacious. The staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you. A special thank you to Elli on reception and Peter in the restaurant for looking after us.
