I would have given this hotel 5 stars just couple hours before our check-out, but they managed to screw things up pretty good. We had asked day before, if it is possible to pay extra for a late check-out, and staff at the front desk offered 1 extra hour for a little extra pesos. We happily excepted the offer, and it made a lot easier for us to plan our day at the island. When we arrived 1 hour 10 min before our late-check-out time to the hotel, male-staff-member informed us that we couldn’t have the late-check-out after all, and we had 10 minutes to leave the room. We were really surprised and angry; we had arranged our day that we would have still over an hour to go to shower and pack our things with no rush. Suddenly we had to leave right away. When we got to the front desk to hand over the keys, there were another couple waiting a room. It really seemed like we were LITERALLY kicked out, so that new customers wouldn’t have to wait even for a second. They sure didn’t respect yet existing customers at all. And for your information, I guess they didn’t understood that we are actually not tourists, but foreigners living in the Philippines, and we were looking for a hotel in Bohol to use regularly. Hotel itself was great, but this worst customer-service ever- experience made sure Ultra mint is not our regular place. Can’t recommend the hotel.
