The place is very nice and spacious. It is fronting the beach, and with restaurants all over. We definately had fun and enjoyed out stay.

Das Pyramid Beach Resort liegt (fast) am Strand ... aber die wenigen Meter, die es trennen, sind sehr überfüllt ... Wenn Sie ausgehen möchten, ist ein Spaziergang zwischen den Restaurants, Massagen, Bars und anderen Orten perfekt. Wenn Sie Ruhe und Frieden suchen, ist das weniger der Fall. Das Hotel selbst ist freundlich und einladend Es ist am besten, hellwach zu sein, um es nachts zu benutzen... ...Ordentliches Frühstück, auch wenn es manchmal keinen Tee gibt ( !). Wir hören die Musik ziemlich spät am Abend ... und ein wenig Lärm im Zimmer Morgen, wenn die Reinigung des Schwimmbades (schön) beginnt ... Bar (und Barkeeper, Mark) sehr freundlich ... Insgesamt positiver Aufenthalt

Sauber, direkt am Strand, in grüner Umgebung. Mehr braucht man nicht, nur Mittelmäßigkeit zu verdienen. Die Bezahlung für die Nutzung des Hotelschwimmbades war eine große Überraschung. Allerdings ist das Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant eine absolute Katastrophe – es ist nicht frisch und sehr teuer.

Die Architektur des Hotels selbst ist recht hübsch und die Zimmer sind relativ groß. Die Bettwäsche war fleckig und sah definitiv nicht sauber aus…. Das Badezimmer könnte eine gute Erfrischung vertragen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut und das Personal ist nett. Alona Beach ist nicht der Ort, den wir erwartet hatten: sehr kleiner Strand voller Menschen, zusammengedrängte Resorts und Restaurants, Tag und Nacht ständiger Lärm! Wenn Sie Ruhe suchen, gehen Sie Ihren Weg! Obwohl wir 5 Nächte gebucht hatten, wechselten wir nach 2 Nächten den Standort.

Upon arriving at pyramid Beach Resort, we were met by Joy, who is a joy to meet. She was friendly and efficient. She explained everything to us and showed us to our accommodation. Every time we saw Joy she was always smiling and so helpful. The night time Bar Guys, Mark and Alan, were also friendly. Paul, as we called him ‘Boss’ always made sure we were ok and if we needed anything. Breakfast was filling and tasty Accommodations was good, we had number 3 which was actually like a little house, upstairs bedroom, downstairs a little sitting area, with well stocked fridge, safe, bathroom. There was an outside sitting area. Would we stay again….yes Big shout out to Joy, Mark and Alan….Thanks guys x

This resort is one of the best. We love the room, it is very spacious and peaceful. Worth the value. All staff are friendly and accommodating. Location is good, at the center of white beach. Hope to be back again. Would recommend to my friends and relatives.

It's a nice cosy resort with smiling staff & good food. Fantastic location & great value for money. Pool is deep though, can't just hang/chill around. Duplex rooms are nice, though the A/c on the upper floor takes a while to cool the room, bathroom is on the lower floor. Insects, lizards do peep in now & then but the resort is made in such a way. Overall, Super place to stay at Alona Beach.

We love Bohol and Alona Beach and have had several holidays there since our first visit back in 2005 when we stayed at the lovely Alona Palm Beach hotel which is now the Henann Resort. Unfortunately, Henann's prices have gone up so much that we decided to try another smaller, more reasonably priced resor and chose the Pyramid Beach Resort which we had seen on previous visits and where we'd had dinner several times over the years. It has a wonderful location on Alona Beach and is really only steps to a number of other hotels and restaurants, making it very convenient. We had booked a ground floor room as I have arthritis and find it difficult to climb stairs. The room was very nicely located at the back of the resort just beside the pool and away from the noise at the front of the resort from neighboring bars with live music. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fine, the air-conditioning worked very well and there was a small desk space where we could put the laptop but only had a stool rather than a proper chair. We ended up bringing in one of the chairs from outside the room as the stool wasn't suitable. The WiFi in the room was fine, we had no problems with it at all during our stay. One strange thing was that in the bathroom there was no hot water in the washbasin, only in the shower. It's not a major problem but it's nice having hot water for shaving in the morning. The one problem with the room is that there were lots of little ants everywhere, particularly in the bathroom and also near where the fridge and TV are located. It was my partner's birthday and I had ordered a cake which was delivered at dinner on his birthday, which was lovely. We took the cake back to the room and looked forward to having it the next day but forgot to put it in the fridge and the next morning it was crawling with ants so had to be put straight in the garbage! We found the staff at the hotel very nice and easy to deal with, in particular all the young ladies at the reception who were charming, helpful and efficient. The hotel should be proud of them and the service they provide for guests. The wait staff at the restaurant were also very nice but unfortunately spoiled my partner's surprise birthday cake somewhat as one of the young ladies obviously thought the cake was for me and asked Alvin in Tagalog (so I wouldn't understand) when he would like the cake to be delivered to our table! When they did bring the cake, it was before they had cleared the table so I was the one who cleared the dishes while the 4 of them were singing Happy Birthday so we could take some photos of the cake being cut etc. They really should have waited, cleared all the dishes from the table and then brought the cake out. So, friendly service but not particularly efficient or professional. The one major negative about the resort is the swimming pool which looks lovely on the website but when you arrive, you are told that the pool is 10 feet deep as it was designed

Over the last week I have stayed with my wife and also extended family. I just love Pyramid Resort. Fantastic location on Alona Beach, small resort set back with beautiful pool. The bungalow upstairs/floor level was really nice for us. Very clean, everything in working order. I love the staff here, very friendly and always attentive, makes a big difference to your stay. I loved it so much I cancelled other accomodation just so I could come back here. I would definitely come back here as my first choice, really wish could have stayed longer. Keep up the great work Pyramid and Thankyou for your staff.

(+) - Located at the heart of Alona beach, there are full of eating and drinking options. - Nice big deep swimming pool if you do not want the beach (-) - Can be quite noisy if you are looking to have a quiet night due to all the bars along the beach - I got a single unit hut and it was quite dusty. Dust can be found on my bed every morning (bed is at the roof floor) - staircase up to my bed (2nd level) is very steep, with the TV and bathroom located on the ground floor

Lovely hotel with excellent staff and good service. Food was great and very reasonable priced. The manager makes guests feel welcome and knows how to look after their wishes. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Also, a very nice swimming pool. The hotel is right on the beach, and not far from all the nightlife and entertainment. Highly recommended

The resort is ok but not a 4-star as rated on Google but only a 3. What was really irritating was the unbearable noise some nights from the blasting karaoke singing at the nearby Jazz bar that painstakingly lasted till 4 in the morning made it a terrible experience. There is no guard who should take care of the resort at night including such disturbance. Will not stay here again.

Super locatie. Van te voren gelezen dat het wat gehorig kon zijn, maar viel heel erg mee. We hadden het appartement met zeezicht en dus ook de “drukke” kant. Super service, kunt hier makkelijk scooters huren en binnen 3 stappen sta je in de zee.
