Arkhé Hotel Boutique Pals

I do not recommend it. I booked on July 2nd, 2024 to stay with my wife from July 20th-22nd, 2024, and on Monday, July 15th, 2024, they contacted me to say that it would not be possible for us to stay due to a problem with the room. Just like that, with no further details. Instead of contacting me with the problem resolved, which, by the way, is called CUSTOMER SERVICE, they suggested an apartment and other hotels in towns near Pals. Honestly, I suggest they remove the word "Boutique" from their name. It should've been their job to re organize either in the same hotel or in another boutique hotel under the same conditions of the reservation. They might not be aware, but changes like these causes a guest to have to take on logistical burdens and additional costs for their trip. Totally Unacceptable and unprofessional.

We loved our stay here! The beds were queen size and super comfortable, rooms clean and felt so calming and luxurious. The whole hotel feels like an old stone house built into the city ramparts but it's been renovated so everything is clean, smooth and fresh. And it smells amazing! The hotel hosts are super sweet and breakfast on the rooftop terrace in the morning is delicious. Pals is such a cute town and a great jumping off point to explore the region.

This is a very charming hotel, located in the middle of a beautiful medieval village, an hour outside of Barcelona. The rooms are very cozy and quite romantic. This is a boutique hotel with only half a dozen rooms. They make every guest feel special. Breakfasts are on the stunning rooftop patio, which provides a commanding view of the village. The food was both delicious and extremely healthy. We loved the location as it was close enough to Barcelona for day-trips, but also offered opportunities to explore other local towns such as Girona (aka Bravos from Game of Thrones). Highly recommended.

We've never before experienced such care and attention to detail in a hotel. We went here for part of our honeymoon and couldn't be happier. The owners are wonderful and really care about making your stay special. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are thoughtfully decorated, and the breakfast is made with love upon order each morning. We highly recommend asking the owners for a private dinner. It was made especially for us (even with our dietary needs and allergies) and was incredible! We really hope to visit again.

Un hotel muy acogedor y un trato del personal muy amable! Es un espacio para poderse relajar y disfrutar de la calma, en un precioso pueblo, Pals. Marta cuida cada uno de los detalles, las flores, el aroma... Y el desayuno espectacular, dulce o salado...al cual mejor! Muy recomendable.Nos encantó! Volveremos

El antihotel : el relax es la experiencia. Aintihotel??? ¿Qué dirías tú si te dijeran que vas a ir a un hotel sin parking, sin pantalla plana en la habitación, y desayuno incluido, pero sin croissant y sin embutido? Para un fanático del fast-food y del “panching “ en el sofá delante del televisor de última generación, como quien os escribe estas líneas, esto sería inconcebible. Pero es que el Arkhé boutique hotel, más que un hotel, es una experiencia, un reencuentro con el pasado, donde el tiempo pasa pausadamente, tranquilamente, por las calles del pueblo medieval de Pals donde se encuentra inmerso. Sus habitaciones guardan el encanto de la vida antigua, reformadas con diseño. Cuarto de baño amplio, cómodo, con todo lo necesario. Ambiente de relax total donde una pantalla plana rompería el encanto del reencuentro consigo mismo que la atmósfera creada por el ambiente del hotel favorece y se agradece. Punto y aparte merece el desayuno. Se sirve en la parte alta del edificio con vistas panorámicas hacia la comarca llegando a avistarse las islas Medas. Allí nos encontramos con Marta, una gurú de la alimentación sana, equilibrada, nutritiva y deliciosa que te hará olvidar el croissant y los embutidos, además de conseguir salir con la barriga contenta sin remordimientos. Dos desayunos a elegir: el dulce y el salado, ambos igual de sanos y nutritivos sin que tener que sufrir por el peso. En resumen, una experiencia excepcional en un cuadro excepcional que invita al reposo, al reencuentro con el pasado y con uno mismo. La experiencia gustativa te harán replantear tu estilo de vida cuando te demuestran que deleitarte con una dieta sana es posible. VOLVEREMOS.
