Globales Mimosa

Wir sind gerade vom Globales Mimosa zurückgekommen und würden nicht wieder dorthin gehen. Wir hatten 4 Nächte All-Inclusive gebucht und bei der Ankunft wurden uns 48 Euro (10 Euro wurden als Kaution zurückerstattet) für einen Safe und weitere 15 Euro für den frühen Check-in berechnet (wir waren 20 Minuten zu früh da). Das Hotel ist hübsch eingerichtet und die Zimmer sind sauber, aber das Essen ist schrecklich. Wenn Sie kein Schweinefleisch mögen, werden Sie hungrig bleiben, da es an allen 4 Tagen unseres Aufenthalts Schweinefleisch gab! Es gab auch Hühnchen, aber es war nicht durchgegart, also würde ich es dort nicht wieder essen. Wenn Sie zum Abendessen ein Bier möchten, müssen Sie dafür bezahlen, auch wenn Sie All-Inclusive gebucht haben. Es gab nur 4 alkoholische Cocktails zur Auswahl. Wenn Sie andere Cocktails wollten, mussten Sie ebenfalls dafür bezahlen. Das Essen in der Snackbar sah gut aus, aber wir sahen, wie eine Taube auf einer Pizza landete, die gerade in den Ofen geschoben werden sollte, und den ganzen Käse davon aß. Der Koch warf das zwar raus, aber das schreckte uns ab, da dort, wo die Snacks waren, alles offen war. Insgesamt würde ich nicht wieder hier übernachten.

Overall no real complaints, I would ignore many of the 2 star reviews. The staff are very good, most speak near perfect English, food available from 8am till 9pm I think, with a snack bar during the times the restaurant is closed. There is plenty of choice of food, I read a review about fussy eater, then bring your own food. The food is fine, the only issues if I wanted to be critical is at the bar some of the food is uncovered. Also the alcohol available was not the good stuff. Was surprised there was no ice cream available during the day for children, unless you wanted to pay extra for the magnum's etc. Booking in was fine, some rooms were ready, but we were there as a group of 13 at 12pm. Lifts are small and did take time, but it was not that bad. Staff were lovely, the hotel entertainment was the bit I'd be most critical of. Rooms were good, cleaned daily, yes the air-conditioning was poor, in the middle of June or July, I think you would struggle. Pool closed at 6pm which was a bit early, but the atmosphere was good, lots of hen and stag parties. Hotel seemed to be about 50% English, 25% Spanish, 15% French. Lots of kids enjoying themselves. Would definitely stay again, you pay for what you get and no one in our group had any complaints. Tip: if you are on a late flight, get up early, you can keep the room till 6pm for 40 euros, but I think due to the limited about of cleaners if you miss out it might be 4pm or even 2pm. There is a space to also leave luggage in a secure room, but that has it's risks.

The Good: Friendly reception staff , rooms very clean, pool quiet, plentiful sun beds, beds & pillows comfy; poolside bar food and eco token for poolside drinks- reusable cups stops litter (shoukd do same for) . We were on second floor poolside and room quiet. The bad: No water in room for late arrivals and bar closed. €10 per day for room safe. Restaurant food. Entertainment. Children's pool - too small and no slides etc. air con even on high didn't cool room.

This is the worst 4 star hotel we have ever stayed in, it is absolutely ridiculous to call this a 4 star hotel, its an average 3 star at best. Here is a list of reasons why this should not be a 4 star hotel and why we found this stay very disappointing. - [ ] No self service beer pump at pool bar - [ ] No self service beer pump in the restaurant - [ ] No beer at all available, even from the waiters in the restaurant. - [ ] No bottled water in the room when we arrived - [ ] Receptionist was rude when we checked in. And took 30 minutes without a queue to check in with no queue. I only asked two questions, is there a cot in our room, and if by any chance any food was left for us since we arrived very late. The receptionist was really cold and said to me " you asked too many questions, I am working here!" I couldn't believe why he had such an attitude when I was very polite to him. - [ ] No Gordons gin in all inclusive - almost all 4 star hotels have this included when all inclusive. - [ ] Only hand soap in the shower, no shampoo or body wash. - [ ] No kids entertainment most nights - [ ] No mini disco most nights - [ ] Lifts have no numbers, so no idea what is going on. - [ ] Lifts are very small, only fit 4 people. - [ ] They don’t provide pool towels, no even for a deposit. You can only buy them for 11 euros each. - [ ] Its clear the animation team makes money from bingo every night, the prize pool is always the same (just under £100) no matter how many people are playing, and they play every night without fail. They seem to pocket any money above £100. - [ ] No kettle in room - [ ] Cockroaches seen twice in the lobby. - [ ] Hotel lobby floods during heavy rain. - [ ] People were smoking in the bar next to my baby, we complained to reception and they didn't care and told me "no one smoked", which made my blood boil - why would I lie about that???

Just came back after 4 days all inclusive me and my partner we are in our 40s so opend minded and never moan but had to write this to warn other people really never again was more like 2 star arrived at 3am in morning couldn't get a drink of water apart from a water machine in canteen or asked to use vending machine that was the start room was fine small so lived out our cases on the unit in room air con just blew hot air around room slept with balcony door open for 4 days fridge was warm .staffs attitude is terrible food was only good thing drink only aloud vodka,gin,whisky or rum or 1 choice of lager if you have kids and there fussy eaters the snack bar shuts at 6 even in restaurant there was no chicken nuggets or anything like that for kids or fussy eaters was really bad rain we were made to sit outside near pool because snack bar was there under jumbrellas with holes In so leaked through instead of having the decency to open the bar inside where it was dry then the sun came out was lovely and hot on the afternoon they then shut pool at 6 kicking kids out the pool and other residents instead of leaving it open due to bad weather thought they might have been a bit more accommodating the life guard wasn't even paying attention to the pool there were cracked tiles around pool.we asked for towels and toilet roll and were told by reception that we can only get these once a day when cleaners come they missed us for 2 days hence why we asked was a right carry on lifts say 6 people lucky if u can get 3 people in ridiculously slow and dated was easier taking stairs then people with bicycles were coming in lifts with there bikes as well was like faulty towers huge language barrier kept getting drinks mixed up staff miserable and not helpful like they didn't want to be there would never go back and this is the first review I've ever wrote about anywhere just thought I need to warn people here I took a chance and back fired on us not happy at all with this place stay away

Nice clean hotel housekeeping are a credit to the hotel towels changed everyday beds were a little uncomfortable very hard mattress. There is a good selection of foods on offer in the canteen but it can get very busy at times. At the pool bar there is always a queue if you want to purchase drinks usually you don't have to wait very long but the staff at the bar are very miserable and unhappy It seems like it's an effort for them to serve anyone. Reception staff are also quite miserable at times upon checking out there was no conversation other than handing over room keys not even to ask if you enjoyed your stay. Hotel was situated in a good location for going out and exploring the area.
