The staff were GREAT!!! However, the room, bed and sheets smelled of cigarette smoke as well as finding black mold on the celling in the bathroom.

We stayed for 5 nights, hotel was OK. For the price point, good. Only complaint would be that when we got to our room, the strike plate for our door was broken(still worked and locked), but made it a bit on the shady side. Brought it up to the front desk upon noticing it and said they would take care of it. Unfortunately, they didn't. Did not deter the stay or warrant a room change, but would have been nice to have it attended to.
Other than that, hotel was clean, conveniently located and friendly staff.

For the price, generally a great deal with a very nice location just a few minutes drive from downtown. Super clean.
Sadly, the Internet there was really bad for the entire 3 day stay.

My husband loves everything tiki so we decided to take the risk on this property despite the mixed reviews. We wish we hadn't. The mattresses were terrible. Our first room had pretty nasty carpet with mildew staining under the sink. Neither of us had a hot shower the whole time we were there. Staff and drinks at the tiki bar were great, but didn't make up for the poor rooms.

Visiting friends in Palm Springs. Hotel was close by.
Room was just fine, clean, quiet enough, spacious enough, etc. The Tiki theme is pretty fun, and it's done decently throughout the property. Pool and hotter area were great. Only 'complaint', and for the price, not sure if it's really THAT valid, is the room was a little run down around the edges -- paint bubble in bathroom, carpets a bit worn, etc. But would stay again.

This was a great pre-Hawaii trip to get into the mood, with the Reef bar right there to enjoy. Super friendly staff especially Edna (?) at the front desk. When I checked out, she remembered from check in that I said it was my anniversary weekend, and that we were going to Hawaii in a few days, and wished us well with our celebration.

Really nice hotel… stayed there 2 nights for the Rip Curl grom search.. front desk staff was amazing and already new who I was.. 2 restaurants right next to the hotel.. also has a pool which looked really nice.. and a very nice gym room.. overall clean safe and a great place to stay.. will definitely be back.. thanks Dustin at the front desk for being the best…

This was our first stay and we loved it! The property is fun with great decor. Sure, her age shows here and there. Whose doesn’t? Sancho’s and The Reef had good food and drinks, and everyone was friendly. We will definitely be back!
