The location is between Indian Ave. and Palm Canyon Dr. which even in the off season has a lot of traffic and is noisy. Fortunately the drone of the AC window units help drown out some of the noise. But not enough. The gardener was leaf blowing by 7:30am and Staff was shoving pool furniture around shortly after. The floors are painted with what appeared to be an epoxy paint with a high gloss finish. Extremely slippery and dangerous if there is any moisture on it. When we arrived the rooms did not smell fresh but we aired them out and it improved. The next two days the smell returned, the tubs didn’t drain properly and sewer venting came through the bathroom shower and sink drains. We used wet towels to cover the drains. When management was notified there was no rush to correct the issue. In fact, the last day when management finally came to the room all he said was that he would call a plumber. Then he abruptly turned and walked out. The pool area is nice. It’s advertised that there was a remodel. Photos make the place look like a gem but the reality is the rooms are just ok. The lack of maintenance makes them sub standard even for one star. This place could be so much more with proper maintenance and attention to detail. We will not return.

My Wife and I have been vacationing in Palm Springs for over 20 years. We have stayed at a lot of Hotels in P.S. We found the Alcazar in 2014 and have been staying there with Family and friends ever since. Robert and his team take such good care of the guests it is great to getaway and relax in such a charming peaceful place. So if you have not stayed at the Alcazar give it a try and experience this charming oasis.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. What a lovely hotel! Really, we were just looking for a clean, quiet place to stay on our drive to So Cal. Alcazar was a dream. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was especially comfortable, and we had a private outdoor patio. The pool was wonderful, with plenty of lounge chairs, shade, and misters to keep me comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants was a plus!

Just what we needed. Our 3-day staycation at Alcazar Palm Springs was the perfect reset — peaceful, cozy, and filled with all the little touches that make a getaway feel special. We spent our final evening sipping Prosecco in the courtyard, reflecting on how lucky we are… and polishing off the bottle before dinner at Birba, which was fabulous as always! Thank you Robert and your team for an exceptional stay. Grateful for the rest, the setting, and the memories.

We knew nothing about Palm Springs before our visit and spent time researching hotels and we were very happy with our choice of Alcazar. The location is excellent, all of the staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms and facilities are great.

First time- stayed with sister in room 25. Very convenient location. Lots of restaurants. Great staff. My only complaint is the music by the pool. Too loud and too weird. They shut it down at 10pm. But if you are in bed before that, you can hear the beat. I finally put on Bose headphones.

This was a perfect place to stay for a midweek getaway; it had a quiet and serene pool area with plenty of tables and chairs for us to hang out. Also, It was nice the pool area was open until midnight, and I was pleasantly surprised the pool temperature was perfect for early spring. The room was simple and had everything we needed to relax. Lastly, the location was perfect, and there was no need to drive to find a restaurant. The downtown area is an easy walk to find a diverse selection of places to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location. Great ambiance & grounds are beautifully maintained. Shout out to JT who greeted us & made us feel at home. We had a view on the upper level overlooking the pool area w mountains in the foreground. Lovely Only drawback is AM coffee not available in the room

What a perfectly situated, small hotel -- within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants -- that also manages to feel secluded and quiet. Nice size pool, hot tub and lounging area, and a spacious room and bath with a small private patio. Basically has all one might need for a short stay, if you're not looking for resort-style amenities. No restaurant, but Cheeky's next door is perfect for breakfast. (And the hotel offers coffee, OJ and pastries in the AM.) Good value and great location --- I'd definitely return. Plus, the staff was really friendly and helpful.

The whole hotel is so beautiful. The bed was sooo comfy we didn’t want to leave! Love the clean white room And the pool view room upstairs was great. We loved the water features by the pool it was so relaxing. It’s walking distance to restaurants, etc

My wife and I booked the entire hotel for the weekend for our 10 year wedding anniversary as we were married at the Alcazar in 2014. The hotel has maintained its excellent quality, style and service. We had the most wonderful and amazing weekend with all of our friends and loved ones and the Alcazar delivered with aplomb. They made life easy with their in-house catering (F10 Catering) and the staff are all so attentive and kind. Truly a magical time at a fantastic hotel - a PSP gem.

We had the best experience at the Alcazar Palm Springs. Everything was great from the initial confirmation with Robert - Hotel Manager; to the room, comfy bed, fresh coffee and pastries, heated pool and jacuzzi, and most wonderful location. But the absolute best thing about this place is the CUSTOMER SERVICE. From the check in/front desk folks to the daily housekeeping - everyone is kind and caring and it shows that they are happy to be working here. We just sold our family business of 50+ years and we know how important it is to hire the right staff and instill the caring values of customer service. We definitely felt the caring from everyone. We will be returning next year for the Palm Springs Int'l Film Fest and staying the entire 2 weeks. We don't want to stay anywhere else, but at the Alcazar with the kindest people! We have been staying here for years, the staff are very helpful and professional.The rooms are clean comfortable, the overall vibe is a cool Boutique Hotel. We highly recommend the Alcazar. The location to restaurants and Downtown is walking distance.

Our favourite small hotel close to the action of downtown Palm Springs. Been coming here since 2006. Love the clean rooms, ample outdoor space to lounge or dine, the heated pool and spa, shade trees and umbrellas, and location. The free coffee/tea/croissants are great for those lazy mornings, although more great food options right next door and within a block, makes it tempting to go explore. Still haven’t taken their cute Town Bikes for a spin yet, but plan to when we come back for the next visit!
