I have been a guest at Korakia several times over the past fifteen years. There was a moment, shortly after covid, that it seemed the property was a bit off. Either the manager, Auric Road, or both have solved the issues. Korakia is back and better than ever. Korakia has all its original magic with many thoughtful upgrades. WHAT I LOVE The unique rooms Delicious Breakfast Coffee or tea is delivered to your room every morning (this is a lovely new touch!) Thoughtful details like a small, dried wildflower bouquet delivered to my room, chilled rosemary towels at the pool, fruit kabobs delivered poolside, and more. Privacy. I really feel like I am away from it all. Great walking and biking neighborhood. Walkable to excellent restaurants like ZIN Thoughtful, exceptional staff. The views of the mountain Peace and tranquility Did I mention the tranquility? REVIEWS OF SPECIFIC ROOMS I HAVE STAYED IN Acropolis - lovely, fairly private, bright, wonderful bed Sahara Suite - Huge, good space to work remotely, very private, great tub, dimly lit, but it is like staying in your own apartment. Not my favorite but maybe the most functional. Atlas - Small, bright, perfect for one person, right by the pool. While not the most private, the room is really lovely and has a great vibe. The upstairs studios - are my favorites. Don't stay there. Byzantium - is the only room I genuinely don't like. Not enough light and no breathing room on either side. I could hear my neighbors all night. Ionean - large, bright, and lovely but not private enough for my taste. Sparta - small yet more private than other rooms and thus, more my style. A comfy bed and close to the med pool. There are several other room wonderful (and even better!) room options at Korakia. These are just the rooms I have been fortunate enough to stay in. I often book at the last minute and imagine if I booked in advance, I could be pickier. Even with my whimsical room choices, I have been satisfied time and again over the course of more than a decade. The quality of every hotel experience is somewhat determined by the room - location, view, etc. At Korakia that is as true as anywhere els. But, here you have the gift of being able to research the experience of other guests and book the rooms by name. Korakia is a beautiful place to unplug and enjoy a truly unique experience . If you are looking for a more traditional hotel experience, this may not be for you. It is intimate and one of a kind - akin to a boutique hotel in a small European town. It is also my favorite place in Palm Springs.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants, Bars, Geschäfte in der Walk-Ferne und Spaziergang ist einfach, da die Stadt Palm Springs im Grunde flat ist! Ich parkierte im Hotellot und ging überall, wo ich gehen wollte. Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant oder Bar, aber ich wusste das, als ich buchte, so kein Problem. Sie haben ein kleines Cantina-Typ-Zimmer, wo Sie Snacks, einige Sandwiches, Getränke, Kaffee, etc. und Eismaschinen überall kaufen können. Der Service war sehr gut, alle Mitarbeiter, wo hilfreich und freundlich. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut mit einem großen Badezimmer. Die Lage war auch gut, im Erdgeschoss nahe dem Pool mit Blick auf einen Parkplatz. Der Pool war groß und besetzt (Ich kam am Samstagnachmittag) und jeder scheinte sich zu vergnügen. Ich nahm am nächsten Morgen einen Tauchzug nach der Wartung abgeschlossen und war der einzige dort, es war großartig! Ich werde sicherlich wieder im Palm Mountain Resort bleiben.

Wir haben dieses Hotel als Ersatz für das Palm Mountain Resort, wo Arbeiten in den Zimmern, in denen wir wohnen, laufen. Sie verkauften das als 'sisterliches Hotel', wir konnten hier eine Nacht ohne zusätzliche Kosten verbleiben. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Ausfahrt, als wir am Donnerstag nachmittag eincheckten, gab es uns ein Gefühl von Las Vegas: In der Lobby gab es eine Bar mit keihard Musik, und es gab eine Pool- und Bar-Party mit knapp gekleideten tanzenden Damen und Herren, die klar die Party des Nachtclub neben dem Hotel fortsetzen. Der Pool ist eine Beton-Hot Island im Innenhof und hat nichts Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit; Fallet-Parkplatz ist pflichtgemäß und die Fallen waren schnell und effizient, und die Lobby rief mich an die Air Tramway, um zu überprüfen, ob es noch Karten gab. Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel, mit guten Queensize Betten. Außerdem würde ich dieses Hotel nicht für Touristen wie uns empfehlen (Familien auf der Straße) , eher für diejenigen, die in der Ausfahrts-Nachbarschaft von Palm Springs in der Aktion sitzen möchten.

Meine Kinder waren begeistert und waren von dem Zimmer sehr beeindruckt. Der während der Pandemie geöffnete Pool war für einen alleinreisenden Elternteil eine große Erleichterung. Alles in allem hatte ich eine tolle Erfahrung und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! !

I think I might be a little generous with a four star rating. However this is the first time travelling to Palm Springs so I have nothing else to judge it by. We set up our reservations via AirBnB. When we arrived we were told we needed to pay a $40 daily ”resort fee” that clearly was not reflected in the listing. The man at the reception desk advised he would need to check with his central booking. Long story short it took more than two hours for him to do so. we actually went and had lunch and he still did not have an answer for us. Meanwhile we still dd not have a room. When we finally did get get word that they would waive the fee, we still waited another hour to get our secret room code. It was just after the 4:00 check in time. Our room was a two bedroom corner suite with a full kitchen. Property appears to be either new or newly refurbished. Not sure if the stove or pots and pans were ever used before us. Yes, they give you ONE cup of free coffee to be used in the pour over coffee system. Otherwise the cost is $15 for a ten (?) ounce bag. Fridge was stocked with beer, wine soda, etc all for a fee. We pushed all the stuff to one side of the fridge and went to the grocery store (a block away) and filled it with our own (grocery store also carries beer & wine). Room was very comfortable. Great beds, nice shower/bathroom Wrap around balcony had a rope swing/seat along with chairs and a table. Unfortunately ours overlooked two vacant lots. No storage for clothes other than a basket full of hangers and a couple steel bars to hag stuff on. Other than a couple scatter rugs the floors are cold concrete. Definitely hear people walking above you so would suggest top floor if possible. Pool was nice but was not available for an early morning swim. Also had to pay for the use of cabanas. Never did see anybody using one. Did not eat in the restaurant but did utilize the bar. Personally not a fan of tequila or mescal but they evidently specialized in it. We did not pay to park nor did we see any parking attendants for valet service. In fact the 'front desk' (outside kiosk) was rarely attended. Definity a great location as far as being close walking distance to shops and restaurants. They do offer complimentary use of bicycles, that we did not use.

Das Hotel selbst ist gut - schön/basisch Zimmer in einer großen Lage, zu Fuß vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter/Mädchen sind großartig. Das PROBLEM ist die Menschen, die dort bleiben. In meinen etwa 20 Nächten habe ich in den letzten Monaten dort geblieben, die Hälfte der Zeit meine Nachbarn waren groß - ruhig, betrachtet, etc. Die andere Hälfte der Zeit waren sie TERRIBLE - laut, dünne Wände, skizzy, was bedeutet, dass Sie nicht schlafen können (ohrschlaf sind nicht genug). Es ist nahe genug, um die Stadt, wo die Obdachlosen um den Ort laufen. Das Hotel ist groß genug, wo sie einen ”quieten Flügel” nebeneinander setzen können, wo geliebte Leute bleiben können, und lassen die Parteien, Leute mit Kindern, in einem anderen Abschnitt bleiben. Sie sind in der Barmherzigkeit, von wem das Zimmer neben Ihnen bucht - und das ist ein dämliches Vorschlag.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu, die Zimmereinrichtungen sind sehr gut, der Service ist auch großartig. Das Hotel ist als eine Haltestelle für eine wechselnde Pause. Am nächsten Tag, um die Mitte der Nacht, ging ich am Morgen nach der Olea Street in der Wüste. Es wurde gesagt, es gibt Bars und Pools im oberen Stock, aber es gibt keine Zeit für die Erfahrung. Es ist eine halbe Stunde von Ole zu fahren? Aber wenn es ein Auto gibt, ist es auch ein Problem, dass man eine Nacht verlassen muss.

Wenn Sie nach einer romantischen Getaway suchen, ist das nicht der Ort für Sie. Palm Springs Unterkunft ist trotzdem ziemlich preiswert, und der Grund, warum diese Immobilie für weniger verkauft wird bei Ihrer Ankunft deutlich. Erstens, die Grundstücke sind abscheulich. Die Parkplätze und Korridore sind schmutzig mit Wanddichten und Krümmungen im Deck. Manchmal funktioniert der Aufzug, aber nicht alle Verkaufsmaschinen tun. Übungsraum ist geschlossen und es gab kein kontinentales Frühstück. Die Hausaufbewahrung funktioniert nur für diejenigen, die länger als 3 Nächte bleiben. Auch, keine Mikrowelle oder Mini-Kühlschrank. Und jemand stellt ein komplexes nebenan, so gibt es viele Tagesbaugeräusche. Also, wenn Sie auf einem strengen Haushalt sind, nehmen Sie Ihre Chancen hier. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants, die das Eigentum teilen und die italienische Küche ist nur über die Straße. Besser noch, neben dem Italiener gibt es einen Rabatt-Großhändler, wo man vielleicht eine Kiste Getreide, einige Bananen und einen kleinen Saft Milch für Frühstück kaufen kann. Der Spaziergang zum Herzen der Stadt ist nur 3-4 Minuten. Also funktioniert die Lage gut, vor allem wenn Sie ohne Transport ankommen. Der Pool und die Heißröhre waren offen und einige Gäste profitierten davon. Noch immer, ich würde nicht mehr hier bleiben. Das ist nur meine Abnahme.
