When booking, it seemed like a quaint little place that we chose simply because it was on the beach and fit into our budget (meaning: we had very low expectations). We got a studio and it had everything we needed and more. We went to Gulf Shores, AL last year and paid a lot more money for a FAR inferior experience. The room here was very clean and comfortable. Neither of us had any issue with the murphy bed (we even brought an air mattress, just in case - never used it). Staff and other guests were incredibly friendly and the amenities are plentiful - they provide things I never would have thought to look for. Singer Island is not a very touristy place, which I didn't know before our stay. But I can't imagine a better location to stay. If all you're looking for is a beach with a couple restaurants and shops within walking distance, you could spend a week here and never get into a car and be perfectly happy. If you stay up late or wake up early, you may even get to see some baby sea turtles (haphazardly) making their way to the ocean. If you want to do a little adventuring, there are tons of things to do and see within a half-hour car ride. Jupiter/Juno beach is about 20 minutes north and we found ourselves there more than once. We drove a few hours one day up to Titusville to see the SpaceX launch. We even made a day-trip to Key West (though that's about 4-5 hours each way). I am looking forward to going back, and I will never stay anywhere else when travelling to the Palm Beach area. I've heard nothing but horror stories about time shares, but I'm actually considering it for this place.
