Domus Accommodations

Our experience was far from pleasant and I find it necessary to bring these issues to your attention. We communicated with Monica several hours before our arrival, however, the check-in process turned out to be a nightmare. Upon our arrival, the main entrance was locked and despite our numerous attempts to ring the bell, there was no response. We also tried reaching Monica via phone, but to no avail. In light of these circumstances, we decided to head to the beach and try checking in later. Unfortunately, we got involved in a car accident on our way. We expected some empathy and understanding from Monica when we informed her about our situation, but she showed complete indifference, which was disheartening. Additionally, the accommodation provided was not as per our booking. We had reserved a two-bedroom property for three guests but were given only one room. This made our stay extremely uncomfortable as I had to share the room with my partner and her sister. Adding to our discomfort, Monica had numerous visitors during our stay. On our last night, she even hosted a party with her friends which made us feel very awkward and out of place. Throughout our stay, we felt like unwanted guests, which was not only disrespectful but also very unprofessional. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and feel I did not get value for my money. It felt like we were taken advantage of. I believe Airbnb holds a standard for its hosts and properties, but unfortunately, our experience with Monica was a far cry from what we expected.
