"After having our hand luggage and my handbag stolen at Barcelona Airport whilst picking up a hire car, I rang ahead to Hotel Trias to alert them of our situation and they were extremely empathetic and told us to arrive when we could after the completion of police reports, etc. When we arrived, the lady on reception could not have been more helpful and arranged for us to have a meal and a drink even though it was 11.30 at night. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights initially and then decided to stay a further 3 nights as we felt very safe at the hotel. This is a fabulous hotel and one that we have been visiting over the last 10 years. The hotel also has the most fantastic restaurant which serves up the most delicious Spanish food. Well worth a visit!"

Hotel & Restaurant Marina Palamós ★★

"Wir haben am ersten Abend dort gegessen, aber der Service war furchtbar. Es waren kaum Gäste da, und mit einem einjährigen Kind auf dem Arm wurden uns die Bestellung und die Sandwiches gebracht – das war absolut inakzeptabel. Wir haben dort nie wieder gegessen, und da das Frühstück teuer war, gingen wir abends immer in die Kaffeebar und aßen alles andere außerhalb des Hotels. Die Kombination aus Hotel und Restaurant ist nicht gelungen; das Hotel selbst war aber in Ordnung, alle waren freundlich, bis auf ein Mädchen mit weißen Haaren, das nach 16 Uhr immer noch an der Rezeption stand. Die Lage war perfekt, und unser Zimmer nach hinten war ruhig."

"A comfortable hotel situated three streets back from the beach. The staff were very friendly and they provide free towels for the beach and for their small outdoor pool. We didn't have much of a view from our balcony but this was more than made up for by the incredible spread at breakfast - it was fantastic and delicious."

"Wir waren Ende August für ein Mutter-Tochter-Wochenende dort. Es ist eine wunderschöne Casa mit nur neun Zimmern, die von einer sehr netten und gastfreundlichen Dame geführt wird. Wir kamen am Nachmittag an und es gab keine Rezeption zum Einchecken, aber wir hatten einen Code, um durch das Haupttor zu gelangen. Der Schlüssel wurde in einer kleinen Box mit unserer Zimmernummer hinterlassen (die Informationen erhielten wir bei der Reservierung). Am nächsten Tag trafen wir die Dame beim Frühstück, das genau richtig war und eine gute Auswahl bot. Sie haben einen Korb mit Strandmatten, Regenschirmen, Hüten usw., den man kostenlos ausleihen kann, um an den Strand zu gelangen, der nur eine Straße entfernt ist. Nachmittags bieten sie viele Waren an, und man trägt sich einfach in ein Buch ein, was man mitnimmt, und zahlt beim Auschecken dafür. Uns wurde nach dem Auschecken ein Platz zum Duschen und Umziehen angeboten, da wir den ganzen Tag dort verbringen wollten. Es ist ein perfekter, stilvoller Ort, wir würden gerne wiederkommen."

"Difficult to wax too lyrical as, on the one hand the whole experience was perfect in every way - the setting - at the top of a valley overlooking vineyards, with Palamos in the distance and the sea beyond - the food and wine, all of which are grown/produced on site - ecologically. Even their own olive oil and honey. The chef is a genius and produces meals with exquisite care and the flavours are of an era long before preservatives and chemicals ruined our appreciation of what real food tastes like! On the other hand they only have nine rooms and I’m concerned that too good a review will have the place sold out forever! And I intend to go back. Frequently. For peace, tranquility and gourmet food and wine it surpasses any wellness spa I’ve ever visited. At a fraction of the cost! And the staff? I have best friends whom I love less. They couldn’t do enough for us. Just a wonderful experience. Our final evening meal - billed as tapas - ( main meal is Lunch) - was wild boar stew, served with their own fig preserve as an accompaniment. If I never eat anything again…..I’ll have ended on the perfect meal. Thank you, Team Bel Lloc!"

"We spent 9 nights at this lovely little hotel in September 2025. We have stayed a few times before and will return again next summer. The rooms are lovely, large and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom with powerful shower,the air conditioning is perfect and the rooms are quiet with really good double glazing to keep the rooms peaceful. The large balcony is lovely to sit out on. The beds are comfortable and large. The restaurant is truly outstanding, popular with non guests as it has been for years. The courtyard garden is absolutely lovely for a shady retreat from the sun and at night comes alive with candlelight, it's a beautiful place for an evening drink or supper. The staff are friendly and professional, relaxed and unhurried even when busy. This hotel will not disappoint, really good value for money , it's a lovely place with the best breakfast buffet in Palamós, we are already looking forward to next summer."
