Sterling Anaikatti

This was our first visit to Sterling Anaikatti Resort from 14th November 2024 to 17th November 2024. We stayed in General Cottage 301 and 302. We reached Sterling Anaikatti via Coimbatore. The rooms and bathrooms were small. The rooms had a queen size bed, one small table, one cupboard for Tea Kettle with supplies and fridge (switched off) and one small wall cupboard for clothes. We had a veranda facing the small river and we used to sit in our balcony to enjoy the river sight with evening tea, memories to be cherished. Resort has a swimming pool, restaurants and Discovery room for various activities. The Room Service was good and everyday Karthik (Supervisor) and Parthipan used to ensure that our rooms are clean, used towels were changed and tea/coffee supplies were topped up regularly. The restaurant was small and food was too good. We had all our meals at the resort restaurant, though items were repeated every alternate day. The restaurant was managed by Debashish. His hospitality was excellent, he was always there to make us feel special, this behaviour was not only with us but with all the guests. The other highlight was the Discovery Room managed by Mrs. Sayani. We all enjoyed playing various games and activities, especially my daughter spent most of her time at the Discovery room. Sayani is quite talented to teach the kids different types of paper craft and art always with that sweet smile. The problem we had with the front desk or reception. I found Ms. Angel to be most unreliable person. One week before our trip I called up and requested for a ground floor room as we have knee problem and it is very difficult to use stairs, still we were given rooms wherein we had to climb steps. Day before our departure we had a detail discussion with Mr. Manoj (other person at Reception) about our delay check-out and it was agreed, that at 11am we will handover one room and other room we will retain till 1pm, so that we can have our lunch. However, at 12:30 Ms. Angel start calling me asking to vacate the room, I told her about the agreement but she said no such thing was discussed and we need to vacate the room immediately. I am not sure is this was a miscommunication in the Front Office or deliberate act. It looks like this Resort does not give preference to Sterling Members and priority was with single day Guest. Our stay was good except for the incident on the departure day.

The service was excellent and the food was awesome! Had a wonderful experience. Special mention to Debashish , Subhan , Biswaz, Raja, Murugesh G . Food was tasty. The Sterling consists of swimming pool , many games such as Table tennis , cricket , football etc.

Had a wonderful visit at Sterling Anaikatti! Asit and his team took good care of us with wonderful food for every meal. They were happy to take personal requests off the menu, and packed food for us early in the morning when we had to travel before the restaurant would open. Sijith Kumar, head of security at the resort was friendly and helped out with our bags through our entire stay. The resort also has equipment for TT, Badminton and Carrom, which were available at Discovery Central throughout. Several other customers who had come were often rude to the staff, making unreasonable requests and demands which all the Sterling staff handled extremely professionally. Overall a great experience, would 10/10 recommend for anyone who wants to relax in nature and wake up to the sound of birds!

We had a lovely stay Sterling Anaikatti. The staff have been so courteous, respectful and welcoming. From the check in counter interaction with Angel, who welcomed us, we were shown 3 rooms to select from. Since we had stated special needs for my who had issues in walking thru steps and slopes, and we selected Room 207 which had a nice river view and can be reached with a few steps. The dinner was fabulous made by Shabhan (Chef) which mild and delicious flavors, who took our preferences patiently and had the order prepared. The pleasant surprise was in the late evening by Sayani who showed up at our room, with a cake announcing a happpy wedding anniversary! While booking my wife had mentioned that we are coming up to relax on our anniversary day to Sandeep, GM and kudos, he had his team prepared for our visit. Sayani had the outdoor dome hut decorated with color baloons and with lights turned on. She helped my wife to the stage. She had music with our favorite song playing while we cut the cake. She made the evening VERY MEMORABLE. Special Thanks to Sayani for making the special event and make it a fantastic experience! Memories will be etched forever with us on the event and day. Next day morning my meditation session was filled clean crisp air, sounds from the bubbling river water trickling down slowly and chirping of birds chirping in the background. Shout out to Satheesh, maintenance supervisor, always visiting us with his smile, taking care of need of extra pillows, towels and our needs. He also brought in tender coconut to my wife's delight. Rooms were contemporary, clean, comfortable, nice enough for the stay, beds were medium soft. Bathrooms are king of small. Nothing super fancy though. Overall we could not have asked for more, THOUROUGLY ENJOYED the stay, Definitely looking forward to next year visit to Room No 207 at Sterling Anaikatty!

Great resort located in Kottathara just 15 km far fron Anaikatti. The resort is in wild jungle enviroment. Inside the resort full of palm trees and a river runs at his border. The huts are wooden with fragrant smell. The staff is very kind. I am particularly grateful to Ms. Sayani the manager of activities and Ms. Angel at the reception for their kind assistance.

Recently i went to sterling anaikatti with my wife and she given me surprise because of my birthday but the decoration was done by miss sayani activity manager she was really good and she took so many photos for us sayani was very helpful and great customer service we enjoyed evening entrainment she arrenged for each and everyone thanks a lot to made our day special and memorable,🎊😁❤️❤️
