In Khao Yai there are three types of hotels: 1) Many quite local, inexpensive hotels of varying quality that cost ~B1000 (in other, non-touristy locations, these hotels would be B500-B600). 2) A few very fancy and quite expensive hotels. 3) A few hotels in the middle - nicer than #1, and less expensive than #2. Fortune fits into this nice middle category. We enjoyed our stay at Fortune, but it is quite expensive for what they provide. The Beds were quite nice (i.e. soft yet supportive) for this big Farang, and for that one big reason we paid the higher price. The room was OK, but nothing fancy. The included breakfast was quite basic, but edible. We choice to skip the breakfast after the first morning. While the gentleman at the front desk is *quite* helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff do their jobs, there could be more attention paid to making sure things are done well. For instance, our bath mat was pretty disgusting and when we left it on the floor to be changed, the maids just hung it back up. Broadly, Fortune could invest in some maintenance. Visitors should seek discounts, either on-line or in-person when they arrive.

Back in its heyday this place must have been the Francophile owner’s Versailles, even today it looks grand despite the crumbling buildings, potholed roads, and overgrown garden. Highly recommend to stay at the new residences wing at the back, which are very new. It’s a short walk to the open air breakfast area. The main resort buildings are in a pitiful state and seem to have squatters in them, seeing from the laundry hung outside. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment complete with kitchen & living room in the Bellevue building, which was really nice & big. Only complaint was the phone in the deserted lobby kept ringing non-stop until I took matters in my own hands and took the receiver off the line. Later someone put the receiver back and it started ringing again, this time I unplugged the line but discreetly left it under the phone so no one can tell.

Ein Hotel mit einem anderen Design
Dieses Hotel liegt in einem der berühmtesten Naturparks Thailands, dem Khao Yai. Es ist mehr als ein Hotel, es ist ein Resort und ich fand das Design super originell. Die Gärten sind wunderschön, die Rezeption super originell, der Service super nett und professionell, das Frühstück, wenn auch etwas repetitiv, sehr vollständig und die riesigen Zimmer mit allem Komfort. Sie haben auch einen Pool und ein Spa, was ein Plus ist. Es ist 5 Minuten vom Parkeingang und 5 Minuten von der Stadt entfernt, also super gut angebunden. Ich habe nichts Schlechtes zu sagen. Wir blieben 3 Nächte und würden es wieder tun.

Great hotel! Loved the cool outdoor swimming pool and the gorgeous scenery around the hotel. The food was good but a little pricey at that restaurant. The only thing that made me upset is when I went on the night safari in Khao Yai, and realized the driver and flashlight holder/animal spotter couldn't speak English at all, so sometimes I couldn't know the names of the animals we saw, which was very frustrating! Another bummer was that because I'm sensitive to heat and love cold weather, I felt the AC in the room wasn't cold enough for me to hermit inside my room and stay away from that excruciating 35°C!!! So please set colder AC next time. The reception staff was good, despite that annoying language barrier at times. I was overall still very pleased with my stay there, and I would definitely come back. Thank you for your cooperation!

Es ist ein kleines Hotel, das aber definitiv den Namen „gemütliches griechisches Hotel“ trägt. Es bietet großartige Fotogelegenheiten und eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Ich blieb 3 Nächte. Das Zimmer war eine Gartenblick Villa mit Blick auf den Berg und grünen Landseite. Es war so ruhig und ruhig. Eine schöne Veränderung von besetztem Bangkok. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Das Badezimmer war jedoch sehr dunkel, auch mit den Blinden offen. Es braucht viel besseres Licht im Badezimmer. Die Handtücher waren ein bisschen alt und sollte ersetzt werden. Die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant waren ok, aber das Personal schien nicht zu interessiert. Englisch war ein Problem, aber ich bin daran gewöhnt. Ich werde sicherlich wieder bleiben, wenn ich auskühlen und weg von Bangkok gehen muss. Ich möchte Khun Geschenk an der Frontrezeption erwähnen. Sie war sehr angenehm und tat einen großen Job, uns zu begrüßen. Sie mag ihren Job und ist stolz auf die Arbeit in The Paz. Danke für das Geschenk von Khun.

Overall, our stay at the Mövenpick Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Khao Yai.
It was quite an adventure to drive there, but such a delight when we arrived.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated. It felt like we were staying at a castle.
While the pool is not huge, it has outdoor and sheltered parts.

GGuest UserFirst time to Khao Yai and happy we chose this resort. Do note, there are two resorts in this location, which can be a little confusing - Muthi Maya and Kiri Maya. Kiri Maya, it appears, is mostly geared towards folks staying at the golf course on the premises. We stayed in a Forest Pool Villa room, which was absolutely incredible. Every villa is nestled away from the main traffic at the resort and was very private. The room itself was very large, including a ridiculously huge bathroom complete with oversized soaking tub. The beds were comfortable and large, with fresh linens and medium/soft pillows. The main attraction was obviously the private pool, measuring in at around 7 meters by 3 meters. Unfortunately, given the fact that we came in January, the water was pretty frigid, so we only managed a very brief dip. That said, there's ample space, lounge chairs, and a large outdoor sofa to simply relax in. Service was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The staff was friendly and helpful, and if you speak English, also bi-lingual. We never ordered room service or ate at the on-site restaurant, but did enjoy the large breakfast buffet. While maybe not as diverse as a big Bangkok area breakfast buffet, the spread was still impressive - fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, egg station, boiled rice, dim sum selections, along with some staple Thai dishes like fried rice, boiled rice, and more. There are quite a few on-site food options, including being able to have a private chef and BBQ at your villa, or a special mookata BBQ with various different kinds of set menus. However, the prices, as expected, are pretty high. There are a TON of local food options in the area, including some exceptionally tasty (and cheap) Thai restaurants just a short drive away. One interesting attraction was the Forest of Illusion, a short on-site self-guided walking tour on the grounds. Starting at 6 PM, you can walk a short path around the resort complemented by fun lights, laser displays, and more. For some reason, this season's theme is Snoopy and Peanuts, which did seem a bit odd. Do note, the Forest of Illusion does cost 350 Baht per person, which is steep. It was mitigated by a small 10% discount for being a resort guest, but overall I'm not sure the value is really there to justify such a high price. Overall, our experience here was great and we're already planning another visit next year, perhaps during the low season to better take advantage of the pool!

MMouseyPros: service is definitely top notch and very attentive to each family and consistently asking for feedback… Housekeeping is everyday and the WhatsApp communicate is a 👍 idea especially for tourist. Food is wonderful as they are served hot and minimise wastage, coffee definitely hit the spot!
No crowds at all and the place is really pretty sight with a lot of swans and fishes and bicycles to rent ( probably have some baby seats too)
Places are a little far away but buggy service was available.
Cons:
being a tropical hotel definitely will be expecting some insects but definitely not expecting so much mosquitoes from level 1. Daughter was bitten 4 times for a 2 hours nap and at least in total 5 bites from mosquitoes for each members.. we have feedback several times to the staff and they really do something which we appreciate a lot 🙏 but honestly we hope more can be done on the maintaining the hotel given it is a 5 stars hotel
We were given a private pool but it is full of bird ****s which we didn’t really expect. Since we r not using the pool and outdoor area, we didn’t feedback.
In the end we didn’t use the pool and outdoor area due to the bird ****s and mosquitoes.
Location is a little far away from some of the known attractions places.. which I missed out during planning

GGuest UserWir haben online mit Govt promo reserviert und wir haben sehr gute Absprache und Hauptauswahl dieses Hotel als es nicht zu weit von Essen und Attraktionen entfernt. Reservierungen und Front haben hilfreich gewesen. Wir haben Lebensmittelkupons im Wert von 800 Bht, die im Hotel zum Zeitpunkt der Überprüfung verwendet werden können, in denen nur in Restaurants und nur für Lebensmittel und nichtalkoholische Getränke verwendet werden können. Hotel verfügt nur über 1 Restaurant mit sehr begrenzten Auswahl. Nichts viel und Frühstücksverteilung ist sehr begrenzt und es ist fast die gleiche jeden Tag. So Nahrung wirklich brauchen Verbesserung in dieser Eigenschaft zusätzlich zu, dass alles gut war. Das Hausbett war sehr süß und machte alle die Aufstellung und arrangierte Komplimentarkacke für seinen Geburtstag und folgte auch unsere Zeitveränderung. Zimmerservice war schnell. Ich denke, der Spa war wegen covid Vorsichtsmaßnahmen geschlossen. Unser Aufenthalt war angenehmen. Das Haustier-freundliche Hotel und viele hatten ihre Hunde mit ihnen gebracht. Deluxe Zimmer ( wir waren in diesem Zimmertyp geblieben ) sind geräumig und sie haben miteinander verbundene Zimmer für Familien mit Kindern. Zimmer und Einrichtungen sind gut gepflegt. Modernes Hotel !!! Sie haben Rockklimmen, Kaninchen n alpaka für Kinder mit zusätzlichen Gebühren genießen. Empfehlen diese Eigenschaft, wenn Sie nicht ernst oder mit Nahrung krank sind.

Es hat eine Dachbar, sehr schönes Frühstückskantin.. aber es gibt keine Kocheinrichtungen, aber keine Notwendigkeit, irgendeine Küche zu machen, weil thailändisches Essen so gut und so günstig.
Es gibt einen Nachtfuttermarkt direkt über die Straße, viele Straßenfutter und Restaurants in der Nähe.
Guter Ort, um zu bleiben, bevor wir nach Khao Yai gehen.
Die Hostels befinden sich im Zentrum von Pak Chong, es gibt einen sehr großen chinesischen Tempel in der Nähe, wo Menschen Taji jeden Abend üben.
Big C und Lotus ist nicht weit entfernt kann dort gehen, um zu kaufen und, oder zu essen in schönen Gericht dort.
Besonders auf dem Damm mit Fahrschooter und Sicherheit, die mit Autos und LKWs alle fahren bei 100+ km/h auf freiem Weg fahren müssen, wenn die Miete eines 125 cc-Scooter auf schnellem freiem Weg unsicher wäre, wo auch Motorrad Lande, Aber unvorhersehbare Sicherheit auf dem Rad, z.B. Steine oder schleifende Sand, Potlöcher oder manchmal LKW oder Autos nur auf diesen Land parken. Und sehr gefährlich und unsicher, Sie mit einem kleinen Scooter zu wechseln, der nicht genügend Kraft hat, um Land bei sehr schnellem Verkehr zu ändern. Diese keine Erfahrung mit einem Fahrschooter sollten nur Touren für Ihre eigene Sicherheit.
Die Menschen in Pak Chong sind sehr nett und freundlich.

The accommodations at Baan Kampu are equally impressive. The room was big offering a blend of modern comforts and country charm. The serene ambiance of the property, combined with the lush greenery surrounding it, provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life.

PPinkozxcDas Zimmer, Blick + Essen war erstaunlich & großartig - zweifellos.
Allerdings scheint ihr Service und ihre Reinigung (insbesondere über die Sofabetten) ernsthaft fehlen. Und es scheint, als würden auch Hunde hier bleiben. Das ist sehr bezüglich, dass sie die Zimmer nicht richtig reinigen. Ich habe seit 5 Tagen Bettwäsche/Tickets auf meinen Kleidung/Körper aufgebracht, als würde ich von Ort zu Ort reisen. Als ob ein unsichtbares Fehler mich nicht aufhalten. Ein Rookie Fehler war, auf dem Sofabett zu sitzen und dann das echte Bett (das war unglaublich weich und die 4 Pilze waren auch erstaunlich weich und glatt) aber all das ging hinunter die Abwasser, weil ich den Fehler nicht mehr entfernen kann. Es ist immer bei mir, weil es auch alle meine Kleidung infiziert hat. Ich werde immer mit einem Schar/Bit auf meinem Körper enden. Es sux. Ich habe dem Personal darüber erzählt und sie gab mir einfach ein schreckliches Lächeln. Das war enttäuschend. Ich glaube, sie müssen ihr Personal besser trainieren zusammen mit der Aufrechterhaltung der Schädlingsbekämpfung für einen besseren Aufenthalt in der Zukunft ... auch der Ort ist super verrückt dunkel bei Nacht .... Keine Lichter irgendwie in das Hotel ... ziemlich schrecklich und das ist das einzige, was über die Lage. Sie brauchen ein Auto. Sonst ist es fast unmöglich.
Sie haben hier einen Haartrockner für Sie und alles wird ausgestellt, sobald Sie da sind. Es gibt auch einen Kocher für Sie. Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschätzt.

Aam HoDer Aufenthalt ist insgesamt angenehm, obwohl es etwas Unglück gab, als wir ankamen.
Counter sagte uns, sie hätten meine Buchung nicht erhalten. Es war eine absolute Überraschung und Schock. Sie wollten Trip anrufen und sagten uns, dass sie uns nicht ansehen konnten.
Stellen Sie sich vor, dass sich in der Lobby insgesamt 11 Pax fühlen, müde aber nicht in ihren Zimmern ausruhen konnten.
Schließlich haben sie das grüne Licht aus dem Reisen.
Das Frühstück war gut. Es war vorbestellt, so müssen wir ihnen nur sagen, was wir wollen.
Das Rechnerpersonal Rose war sehr hilfreich beim Frühstück. Das Zimmer meines Freundes hatte einen großen Spider auf der Wand, aber zum Zeitpunkt des Ankunfts des Personals kam es in den Luftkonditionerventil. Argh ziemlich schrecklich eigentlich ...
Trotz all dieser war es ein angenehmes Aufenthalt im Splendid Hotel.
Die interessanten Orte am ersten Tag waren nahezu einander. Unser letzter Halt vor dem Hotel war nur 5 bis 8 Minuten Fahrt.
Allerdings gibt es keine 7-11 in der Nähe, aber sie haben eine Verkaufsmaschine für Chips und andere Snacks.
Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Sauberkeit akzeptabel. Keine verfärbte Bettwäsche oder schmutzige Handtücher usw.

GGuest UserOk. Also rufen wir es an, wie es ist. Dieses Hotel ist ein Designklassik. Und deshalb wollte ich bleiben. Ich fiel vor etwa 10 Jahren, und es war dann in voller Schwung und kostete ca. B3,000 pro Nacht. Jetzt ist es weniger als die Hälfte. Warum? Nun, der Ort hat bessere Tage gesehen. Zumindest sagen. Unsere Zimmer waren sauber und bedienbar. Die Flachs war frisch. Das Frühstück war frisch und begann mit einem Salat und frischem Obst, gefolgt von einem Witz, Toast und gekochte Eier mit instant Kaffee und Wasser abgewaschen. Aber der Ort braucht ernsthafte Investitionen. Und massive Renovierung. Es ist ein Design-Symbol - denken Sie an das 2001 Raumzentrum, das im Khao Yai Nationalpark landen und Sie erhalten das Bild. Ich bin besorgt, dass es beim nächsten Mal, wenn ich nach Khao Yai gehe, zerstört wird, um Wege für eine der vielen langweiligen neuen Kondos zu schaffen, die in der Region prävalent sind.

MMarkErstmals in Thailand und unsere Augen wurden zuerst auf Khao Yai gesetzt, weil die nicht von den Attraktionen, die es hat und sein Khao Yai Nationalpark oben auf der Liste verletzt werden würden. Aurora Resort ist der perfekte Ort, um zu bleiben, wenn Sie planen, alle Khao Yai Attraktionen von Ihrer Liste zu überprüfen. Wir haben dort 4 Tage verblieben und ich muss sagen, das Resort ist unbestreitbar riesig mit einem massiven Bereich zu wandern. Sie würden nicht zu viele Menschen im Resort sehen, so dass der Ort perfekt ist, wenn Sie den Stress entkommen und nur aus einer besetzten Welt entspannen wollen. Für einen Fremden wie mich ist es ein bisschen schwierig, mit ihrem Personal in Englisch zu kommunizieren (aber ich weiß, dass sie ihr Bestes tun, um Sie zu verstehen) und dankbar ist ihr Resortmanager eine Anrufe weg und wird Ihnen sicherlich bei jeder Tätigkeit helfen Sie planen, ehrlich zu tun, was Sie brauchen. Sehr bequem!
