Haka House Bay of Islands (Paihia)

Great job

Buena ubicación y vista a la playa. La cocina es cómoda y el área de lounge también. Lo malo es que al estar unidos el lounge se llena de olor a comida. Me quedé en la habitación de 4 de mujeres y me pareció muy pequeña. El hostel no tiene onda, no hay música, quizás porque es temporada baja.

I enjoyed a two night stay here whilst solo travelling. The was comfortable, there were good amenities available in the kitchen and everything was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in super quick and easy. Would stay again in future.

A nice hostel. Had all the amenities needed, even though the water pressure was a tad bit low. The receptionist Max was extremely nice and service minded! The kitchen and lounge were up to par and the hostel was always clean. Loved the view and most of all, I loved the vibe! Would recommend a stay if you are in Paihia!

Ideal location to explore Paihia. Clean, tidy and bright. Facilities and all amenities are considerately provided. All staff are so kind, helpful and hospitable. My encounter with Scott in the front desk was a terrific, happy and memorable experience. He tried to help and delight me in every way possible. The feeling and vibe was extraordinarily positive. Out of 100 aspects he has helped; only 1 item failed; that was, the height of the upper bunk bed could only be around 60~80 centimeters? I think anyone with height over 150 centimeters cannot even sit-up on the bed. I could even say it could be a suffering to stay in such bunk nook. Be aware!
