To be fair it was a lovely stay , yes the building is a little dated but it was built nearly 200 years ago , We received a warm and friendly welcome from Ged our host who showed us to our room which was clean and very nicely presented, the fire evacuation call was explained and so was the breakfast arrangement. Following morning breakfast was presented… a nice full English and Blueberry pancake with syrup both enjoyed with no complaints. All in all a very nice stay with lovely hosts . Parking was available on a first come first serve basis . Thank you Ged & Clare for a very pleasant experience Gerry & Bev or John & Gill 😍

Wir haben in diesem Hotel schon ein paar Mal geblieben, das war unser erstes Aufenthalt seit seiner jüngsten Renovierung. Das Restaurant wurde vollständig aktualisiert und sieht wunderschön aus, die anderen Gemeindegebiete scheinen nicht berührt zu haben. Es gab eine Schüssel von Farbe in den Zimmern, um es mit dem neuesten Farbschema zu aktualisieren und es gab einen neuen Stuhl, der bequem war. Die neuen Kissen sind auch sehr gut. Das war wahrscheinlich unser schlimmstes Aufenthalt von etwa 10 in den letzten Jahren. Es war schwarz auf der falschen Grube auf den falschen Fliesen im Badezimmer. Es ist buchstäblich ein Kunststoff-Panel, so dass das mit einem Kleid entfernen würde, so dass es nicht einmal eine minimale Reinigung für eine Weile haben kann. Für ein Zimmer, das renoviert wurde, ist es seltsam, dass der Teppich in ihm Lücken hatte. Auch das war das lautste Hotel jemals gewesen, ein Zimmer, das wir nicht identifizieren konnten, das nicht auf unserem Stock war, spielte Laut Musik bis nach 11:00 Uhr und dann wurden wir von jemandem aufgewacht, der unsere Tür versuchte und behauptete, dass ihr Schlüssel nicht funktionierte.

Just enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel and we have been many times before. Would like to say a big thank you to Stenze on reception for addressing an enquiry I had with the pricing online and what we were actually being charged and she dealt with it very efficiently and professionally. We were in a beautiful balcony room with superb sea views and was very comfortable and quiet. As part of our package we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. As always the food was wonderful and staff very friendly and extremely efficient and hard working. Would highly recommend this hotel and we look forward to our next visit.
