Shaya Suandoi Resort

Arrived about 10 pm, no reception and a friend of the owners showed us to our room as they were no where to be seen, we weren’t given a key or asked for details. We were very disappointed when we did get into the room as it was filthy. There was money in the bed and hair and stains on the sheets that clearly hadn’t been changed. We asked to move and the man was very apologetic and moved us straight away to a room upstairs. This was a bit better. The next day they said they have another room ready for us which we weren’t meant to stay in but there was an issue with the booking system and our room had been ‘double booked’. So we moved again this time it had obviously been cleaned for us but still very dated. The bathroom was full of ants and bugs. The pictures of the property, the blue pool and tidy outdoor area is also very old and the pool was so dirty we couldn’t go in it. Checking out there was no one to be found we just had to leave our key on the bed side table too.
