Eine große Stadt mit einer guten Umgebung, vielen Geschäften und Casinos, natürlich ist die Voraussetzung, ein Auto zu haben. Wenn kein Auto vorhanden ist, wird es mühsamer und die Gesamtüberfälligkeit wird überschritten.

Due to weather conditions during our Death Valley trip, we stayed one night in Pahrump and chose K7 Bed and Breakfast based on the excellent reviews. Hard to understand how this place got rated ”excellent” on several booking portals - it is an average motel at best, with very nice grounds and friendly host, but rather modest rooms and everything kept at bare minimum. Our room was large and clean, but sparsely furnished, the closet placed in the bathroom, a tiny fridge and microweave in a corner. The heating/air conditioning unit new and fairly quiet, but no heating in the (chilly) bathroom; bed unconfortable, with cheep synthetic sheets and covers, no extras. No amenities to speek of: WiFi was very weak and sporadic, breakfast on the cheap, with milk in papercups in the fridge and a few tired ”continental” items on the table upon arrival. Should have paid more attention to previous comments on this, and especially to the host's response, blaming all problems on workforce issues since over a year now! Nevertheless, it is a quiet location (although walls a paper thin, so bad luck if next door people are noisy) and good enough for a short stay, but nowhere near the level ratings and listing suggest.

Aufgrund der unfassbar hohen Preise für eine Übernachtung im Death Valley ist Pahrump als alternative Übernachtungsmöglichkeit eine Überlegung wert. Wir waren über den freundlichen Empfang hier positiv überrascht - das ist aktuell nicht überall so, auch in ”guten” Häusern nicht. Das gesamte Hotel inklusive Umfeld und vor allem das Zimmer war top sauber und gepflegt, technisch alles gut. Auf das Frühstück darf man sich freuen, nettes und aufmerksames Personal, gute Auswahl und nette Atmosphäre. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr zu empfehlen,.

Casinohotel, guter Service, freundliches Servicepersonal. Das einzige ist, dass ich 10 Dollar extra für Servicegebühren und ähnliches berechnen muss. Der Nachteil ist, dass ich während der Epidemie das Gefühl hatte, dass es nicht angemessen ist, in einem so vollständig geschlossenen Hotel zu leben. Damals zögerte ich, ob ich einchecken sollte, aber es war zu spät, um andere Hotels zu finden. Bevor ich lebe, habe ich gründlich desinfiziert und Antivirus gesprüht, um die Kinder hereinzulassen.
