We were travelling from America and were looking for peaceful atmosphere, this place was exactly that. These cottages are not too far from main downtown area(10 mins drive) yet have a peaceful and serene location, the surroundings are gorgeous with a stream close by. We walked to the golf course for some photo shoot. We had rented one whole cottage, it had four large bedrooms with extra bedding in each room, clean towels and linens were provided. The owners were always helpful and catered to our needs promptly.. The staff was very friendly and food quality is also great. We would visit Mantoo Cottages again in future.

Excellent service with great hospitality. The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. We were recommended some great places to hike such as Tulian Lake. Our family truly had an amazing experience with this hotel.

Being the regular guest, it is always an amazing experience in staying & unwinding at Mantoo Cottages. This is my favorite place at Pehalgam to be in peaceful, beautiful & serene surrounding with the touch of local traditional hospitality. I have been here in summers, winters & fall. Every time I visit with my family & experience the excellent hospitality & beautiful nature. We travelled from Canada last summer to Kashmir & stayed directly at the Mantoo Cottages. It is not a star category hotel but the kind of personal warmth & friendly care we got from the host & staff, makes it a 5 star hospitality. Thanks & appreciation to host & their team for making our stay memorable. Room: This time we have found that rooms are renovated with all necessities on place such as neat & clean cozy bed, crisp linen, big windows with beautiful view, clean bathroom, fresh towels & comfortable temperature. Location: Location is the major factor of selecting this cottage. I am in love with this location which is in lush green surrounding with the sound of river lidder. As soon as you step out of the main gate you come across with a small stream & next is the river – a perfect place for picnic & activities. Amenity: All basic amenities are provided however your requirement & requests are promptly delivered.

The cottages has been tastefully decorated under the supervision of its owners who have delicately combined the alpine buildings with liberal use of wood and stone.
The hotel has 55 rooms, with spacious interiors, wood panelled walls, large windows and elegant attached washrooms.
With a large restaurant serving Oriental and Indian Cuisines, the cottage retreat, works continuously to provide the ultimate in service and hospitality.
